More Iranian Women’s Soccer Team Members To Get Asylum

The Iranian state has labeled members of the Iranian Women’s soccer team “traitors” after a silent protest during an international tournament.

An athlete and a member of the Iranian Women’s Soccer Team support staff were the most recent to be granted asylum yesterday.

Iranian state television criticized the women for their silence during the Iranian anthem, calling them “traitors” and for them to be “severely punished”. Players have commented that some of their family members were detained.

Meanwhile, in New York City a few days ago:

Havening. Imagine. Oppressed women seeking a safe haven from a government that would beat them and might even kill them and this clown is jumping around like an idiot in a New York City Park and screaming like a lunatic. That poor dog, by the way…

While most of the squad left for Iran, seven total players and staff members stayed in Australia.

An observer at the scene told CNN that people gathered outside the hotel where the squad was staying on Tuesday had tried to stop the team bus from leaving for Gold Coast Airport in Queensland, Australia.

The person at the hotel also said that one of the players looked to be crying as what appeared to be security guards escorted the team onto the bus.”-CNN

Where is (Biden) Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, Megan Rapinoe, anyway? Where is her outrage? Doesn’t she know-or suspect-what may happen to the women who got on that bus and got on that plane back to Iran?

Where are the feminists? Where are the companies eager to celebrate the Iranian team’s bravery during International Women’s Month? Where is retired soccer great and avowed activist Megan Rapinoe, who is just as known for her mouth as she is her foot?

Couldn’t any of them spare a tweet? A word of support?”Kristen Fleming, NY Post

As women signaled for their lives on a bus to go back to their home country where they will face a fate that is unimaginable to us, the fortunate ones, women took to the streets of cities days ago dressed in Handmaiden costumes. Why? Because they are so oppressed. Because of Trump. Because of Musk. Because of THE MAN.

“StOp ThE wAr On WoMeN”, they will say.

They’ll recite poetry, they’ll do interpretive dances, they’ll say “No Kings”, they’ll demand the release of the Epstein Files and denounce the war in Iran. They’ll don the keffiyeh. They will defend the countries that murder and rape young girls and throw gay people off of rooftops because “war is not the answer”.

A woman’s place is in the struggle“, they’ll say.

Except, they don’t know what a struggle actually is. None of us who have been born and raised here in the United States do. We have athletes that kneel during our colors. We have entertainers who moan and groan on the regular about what a terrible country we live in; what an embarrassment it is to be an American, how they wish they were in Europe. These privileged twits move free-without consequence-without punishment. Something tells me that those girls who did NOT stay behind in the Land Down Under will not escape consequences. If American women have any struggles right now, the struggle lies in finding the joy for what blessings they do have. Instead, they are bitter and angry. The struggle lies in making the warped puzzle pieces fit-although they can’t logically make them do that magic. The struggle lies in understanding that our country is not the third-world hellhole that devalues women and their contributions to society. The struggle is real in actually defining what a WOMAN is for some of these people.

But they, the self-proclaimed, fierce, woman warriors did their part to put the screws to the patriarchy days ago. Slow clap. They called for “expanded rights”

Abortion with zero restrictions. Legalized prostitution. And “expanded rights” for MEN to be in women’s locker rooms, BOYS to play in girls’ sports and, yes, for those same guys (who think they are girls) to have abortions.

All of this while Iranian women know of struggle. Real struggle.

Since its foundation in 1979, misogyny has been part of the warp and weft of the Islamic Republic. Women not only face persecution and abuse on the streets but are legally recognised as inferior to men. Husbands can prevent their wives from taking jobs that are deemed to be against ‘family values’. Married women need written permission from their husbands to obtain a passport or travel outside Iran. It is prohibited for a woman to sing and dance in public.”-The Independent

Sing and dance? How about screaming? Let’s make a deal with Iran. They send back their soccer players and we will send them the Park Screamer (her dog stays and goes to a worthy forever home with a sane family). As an added bonus, we’ll throw in the Blue-Haired Boomers who line dance in the name of “women’s rights” and the leftover hippies and their repertoire of folk songs.

I’m sure the Mullahs would be absolutely tickled to ask them all about their feminist agendas.

  • CDC says:

They do suffer mental illness, did the bouncing exorcism work?
A PBS February story stated 7,000+ died in Iran protest.
There are pictures of the rows of filled body bags, the families of the dead are required to reimburse the government for expenses incurred.
The park screamers and fake handmaidens are invited to take their place but won’t have to because this is still the United States of America one Nation under god…
