Now that his re-election campaign is officially underway, Joe Biden and his handlers are depending on the media to give them the same sweetheart coverage that they did four years ago.

And obviously, the media are happy to oblige Team Biden, as is proved by yesterday’s press conference with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. Biden has already admitted openly that his staff tells him which reporters he is supposed to call on in these little staged pressers. And we know the old mainstream media is already in the tank for Joe Biden. It turns out that the media is also willing to submit their questions to Team Biden ahead of time, so that the handlers can write up the questions for the old man and make sure that he knows who to call on and how to pronounce their names.

That’s beyond enabling. This goes beyond the cheat sheet we’ve seen before (YOU sit down, YOU eat your ice cream, YOU wash your hands after going to the bathroom) – this is an admission that Joe Biden is not capable of replying to spontaneous questions, and needs constant direction.

“How are YOU squaring YOUR domestic priorities — like reshoring semiconductors manufacturing — with alliance-based foreign policy?” read a question from Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian.”

The revelation came during a joint press conference with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol that discussed growing nuclear threats from North Korea — as the nations celebrate the 70th anniversary of their alliance.”

Another cheat sheet held the names of other Biden administration officials to show the order in which remarks would be delivered at the press conference.”

It’s not the first time Biden’s crib notes have been outed by speedy photojournalists — which fuel Republicans’ speculation about his mental acuity.”

The Democrats have all but conceded that Biden’s mental acuity is shot to hell. If they were confident, then Biden would have held a re-election campaign rally instead of releasing a video where he barely appears and only does voiceover narration work. If they were confident, then there would be Democrat presidential primary debates. If they were confident, then Biden would be able to do press conferences without getting the questions ahead of time. But they aren’t. They are looking to run a 19th century campaign strategy for Grandpa Joe once again, this time without the excuse of COVID, and put him in the basement while having surrogates do the campaigning. Surrogates, and Kamala Harris. Hilariously, Biden and Harris now share a symbiotic relationship, where neither can survive in the White House without the other. She is so unpopular that she enables an elderly man in obvious cognitive decline the cover to be president, and she is so “intersectional” that he can’t get rid of her without upsetting the base.

The real problem with Biden’s senility is the willing cooperation of the media to go along with it, and break all sorts of their so-called ethics to enable The Big Guy, all because they hate the Republicans more. We already know how much their love/hate relationship with Donald Trump has affected their coverage (they hate him, but love those ratings), and we have seen their obvious loathing of Ron DeSantis (because he refuses to play their game and his team calls them out with receipts). The end result? It is now considered a jouralistic moral good to feed the office of the president of the United States the questions you wish to ask ahead of time, in order to make him look good, and in order to ensure your continued access. And yes, we can all see you doing it, media.

Okay now what? Who is accountable for this? Are these demands being made of the White House? Are reporters volunteering to do this to get their face on TV? Just how bad is this? There are kids at the White House today who are tripping Joe Biden up with simple questions that the media should have been pressing him on, but won’t, because, with few exceptions (Peter Doocy), they’re all a bunch of cowards looking to keep their seats at the cool kids’ table.

A kid asked Biden to list where all his grandkids live. He lost track, gave up and finally said "I don't know"

So kids are tripping him up with easy questions better than WH reporters planting theirs.

Again, if Donald Trump was refusing to acknowledge one of his grandchildren, this would be brought up repeatedly on news programs and podcasts from the left. There are only two reasons for Biden to not acknowledge Hunter’s four year old daughter in Arkansas. He either doesn’t remember that she exists because he is senile (he obviously has been told that she does exist, because someone is paying Hunter’s legal bills and he’s apparently too broke to pay child support), or he refuses to acknowledge her existence because she’s illegitimate and he is a mean and ugly old man (who has no problem remembering Hunter’s toddler son Beau). Who among the press (other than Peter Doocy) would be willing to ask the president about his granddaughter? It’s a simple question! “Mr. President, you say you have six grandchildren – do you consider Hunter’s daughter in Arkansas your grandchild?”

Biden is an embarrassment because his cognitive decline means he can no longer do his job effectively. The media is an embarrassment because they’re going along with this and covering for him. And if the Republicans can’t beat this old embarrassing man, then the party is finished. Republicans need to decide what is more important – whining that we never win, or actually winning. Team Biden keeps handing out ammunition. The GOP needs to stop shooting themselves in the foot with it, and stop letting the media set the narrative.
