The GOP Is No More, If It Can’t Beat Old Joe

Miranda Devine is one of the few investigative journalists left in the United States. Fact. Therefore, I hesitate to criticize her in any way. However, here comes the criticism. She wrote an article “If the GOP can’t figure out how to beat old Joe, they’re useless”. No, no. They are worse than that. Knowing what we know about the 2020 Presidential Election, if the GOP can’t beat Old Joe, the GOP will, as a party, cease to be. As Tucker Carlson said on Wednesday night, “That which cannot go on, will not go on”. The GOP cannot go on after 2024 if they do not win the Presidency.

Miss Devine starts out reminding us how collaboratively the media works with the Biden Administration:

It’s bad enough that the Los Angeles Times agreed to submit questions in advance and collude in this Emperor’s New Clothes-style defrauding of the American voter, but Joe Biden can’t even get it together enough to hide the cheat sheets.
Honestly, if Republicans can’t figure out how to beat this corrupt, divisive, addled, old man, who has wrought so much damage in half a term, then what use are they?
Biden’s prerecorded announcement Tuesday that he wants to “finish the job” at 82 should be God’s gift to his political opponents, especially when his cackling backup is a vice president whose every public utterance seems to be written by Cheech & Chong.

“They”, Miss Miranda, have been useless for quite some time. Like, Trump pulled their bacon out of the fire in 2016, useless. He brought the enthusiasm that dragged the dead elephant’s carcass over the finish line. The wimpy elected servants of the GOP pretended like they didn’t know Trump up to 2018 and didn’t call horse caca on Russia collusion. Where did the party end up? And, some really great voices (I cannot remember who.) warned about the 2020 election and the fact that states were using the courts not legislatures to change voting rules because of Covid.

In August, 2021, Samantha Chang wrote, in Western Journal, about the RNC’s own findings:

According to investigators, the following groups bypassed state legislatures and illegally changed state election rules in the leadup to the 2020 presidential race: “courts that disregarded long-standing laws, by Democratic governors who abused their emergency powers, and by officials such as secretaries of state who ignored state laws duly passed by their legislatures.”
These last-minute rules changes compromised election security and made the process highly vulnerable to voter fraud, according to the RNC report.

The deck was stacked for Old Joe. What has the GOP done to remedy this? Re-elected Ronna Romney McDaniels. Great. Did Ronna even really talk about ballot harvesting? No. Tulsi Gabbard did. And, before you drag me, I don’t trust Tulsi Gabbard, but when she is right, she is right.

In states where ballot harvesting is a problem, Scott Presler (The Persistence on Twitter) has actually been making plans to teach and train ballot harvesting:

I agree with Miranda that the GOP candidates must debate. MUST DEBATE. That’s important to know our candidate is battle tested. But, the most important parts to keep Old Joe from “finishing the job” are custody of the ballots and who counts the ballots. We have to keep Old Joe from finishing the job or the GOP will cease to be and the country shortly thereafter.

By the by, please have Ronna Romney McDaniel call, tweet or DM Scott Presler, he has been trying to get her. Or, does she want to lose?

Well I’m beginning to trust Tulsi more than repubs like
    Ronna Romney McD.

Right now I would take a Tulsi Gabbard/RFK Jr ticket over anyone but Trump. Their best ideas are excellent, their worst ideas can be filibustered, and I trust that they love the America I grew up in.

If the GOP were gone, then conservatives might be able to unite under the banner of a new party. The elephant has been dead since Reagan’s disastrous mistake of anointing Bush 1. Too late for 24 though so we will have to suffer through this for a least 6 more years.

It is the ineptness. The never improving, never adapting. It is the stale excuses. It is a big club and you ain’t in it. To say gifting Joe Biden the win is betrayal is too strong. Gifting Joe Biden the win is a sleight of hand.

Republicans are like career criminals. Let me explain.

About 10 years I attended a meeting in the County Jail with the Police Chief of a major metropolitan city. We had regular meetings because of our jobs. I can’t remember why were in the County Jail and not the Chief’s office. As I walked into a conference room in the jail, on the walls were glass displays of all the “homemade” weapons that were confiscated by the prisoners. I was looking at them and expressed my amazement about how the most mundane, everyday items, could be turned into a device to injure, harm, and potentially kill another person.

The Chief said, “Yeah, if prisoners put as much time into bettering their lives as they did in figuring out how to make weapons or harm others, we could do away with most prisons.”

Republicans are like prisoners … if they would devote the time and energy and had the desire to help and improve the lives of others, they might just win an election. Republicans openly value and support a candidate who is unable/unwilling to utter the truth (facts), who has rapped and victimized women, who supports “nice” Nazi’s, who initiated an insurrection, he has only one interest in this world … himself. Period. Republicans want to take away the ability of women (basically, families … wife, husband, spouse) and their medical providers to decide (within reason … less than 1% of abortions are conducted in the last trimester and almost always because of fetus abnormalities … not because a woman woke up on day 275 and decided she didn’t want a child). Republicans want to put children who struggle with their gender identity at greater risk of suicide and self harm. Allowing immediate access to weapons of war which then are used to kill children. The list goes on …

Republicans are like criminals. They spend more time on creating weapons than than they do bettering the lives of Americans. The standard bearer of the Republican Party is an important decision … nominating the 280 pound malignant tumor will result in Biden’s re-election. The malignant tumor’s “negatives” are off the charts with Independent voters and there is no way a presidential candidate can win without getting a sizable portion of the “swing” voters.

    Republicans are like criminals.

With all due respect, given the wholly owned and operated by the Left nature of the American media, there is another, more likely chain of events. No, the media did not submit their questions in advance. Rather it is just as likely if not more so that the White House told the media who would ask which specific questions and the wording thereof, and what the answers would be [if Biden was semi-functional] in the certainty that no matter how badly Biden screwed things up the Press would do as ordered and cover his tuchus.
