Saturday, in Dayton, OH, a protestor crashed the stage where Donald Trump was speaking. Thomas DiMassimo was arrested by police and charged with disorderly conduct and inducing panic.

And boom! Just like that — DiMassimo turned into an instant celebrity.

A CBS reporter found his Twitter account, and posted it.

He was quickly contacted by several news outlets, including the Daily Mail in Britain.

And finally, this reporter from the Guardian in Britain.

But this big “get” was achieved by CNN, which was granted an interview with DiMassimo on Sunday.

Cameron Gray of Ricochet and NRA News pointed out CNN’s hypocrisy.

Gray later tweeted this:

Others noticed as well, including conservatives who don’t like Trump.

I agree with Dr. Shanker. Count me as a determined member of the #NeverTrump club, but I’m also appalled that this bonehead was able to crash the stage of a presidential candidate and have the media fawn over him like he’s a Kardashian. The fact that Trump received this sort of attack makes no difference to me; it could be Trump today, my candidate tomorrow, another person’s candidate next week.

Here is the lesson that leftist agitators have just learned: threaten a presidential candidate, go to jail for a little while, and then get rock star treatment from the media when you get out on bail. Score! Everybody wins! Except, of course, anyone running for president.

She is a Baby Boomer who never became a hippie, an active Republican who first registered as a Democrat (okay, it was to help a sorority sister's father in his run for sheriff), and a devout Lutheran who practices yoga. Growing up in small-town Indiana, now living in the Kansas City metro, Kim is a conservative Midwestern gal whose heart is also in the Seattle area, where her eldest daughter, son-in-law, and grandson live. Kim is a working speech pathologist who left school system employment behind to subcontract to an agency, and has never looked back. She describes her conservatism as falling in the mold of Russell Kirk's Ten Conservative Principles. Don't know what they are? Google them!

Pfft. This is why most terrorists and “mass shooters” do what they do – that 15 seconds off fame, even if they’re dead.
