Gavin Newsom has Covid. That’s right, the Lockdown King has a mild case of the virus. But he’s super grateful for the vaccines and the booster shots!

This AM, I tested positive for COVID-19 and am currently experiencing mild symptoms. Grateful to be vaccinated & for treatments like Paxlovid.

I’m following health guidelines and will be isolating while I work remotely.

There’s so much irony with all of this. California has been one of the most locked down states since the Covid debacle began. It was California that spent thousands to bring sand in so kids couldn’t use the skate parks. It was California that arrested a guy because he was surfing ALONE in the ocean! Restaurants were shut down and in fact, doors were padlocked so that people couldn’t dine in person. Schools went to remote for nearly two years, and churches had to sue in order to have services. 

In spite of the egregious mask mandates as well as the plethora of asinine power mad regulations, Gavin Newsom, the Lockdown King, got Covid. 

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has tested positive for Covid, his office announced on Saturday.

Newsom’s diagnosis comes a day after he met with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in San Francisco to sign a pledge to help fight climate change. Ardern tested positive for Covid in May.

Which is incredibly interesting as Ardern has been jaunting all over the U.S. in the last few days giving speeches and making television appearances. 

Yes, New Zealand is finally opening back up to tourism, in July.

Starting on July 31 at 11:59 p.m., the country will welcome tourists from all countries, and rev up what was an important component of the country’s economy before the pandemic, attracting more than 3 million visitors and employing nearly 230,000 people. “We will be fully open to the world,” New Zealand’s tourism minister Stuart Nash said in the statement.

Which verifies for me that New Zealand did suffer economically under Ardern’s lockdown rule. Meanwhile, as Gavin announced he’s positive, she is supposedly slated to meet with Biden on this trip. But now that she came in contact with Newsom’s icky Covid germs, will that have to be canceled? 

Oh wait, maybe SHE gave Newsom the virus??

The governor’s office said it does not know how Newsom contracted the virus. He is vaccinated and received his second booster shot this month.

I mean, contract tracing over these last two years has been so effective that we still don’t know how this virus, like the flu,, travels around! 

The Lockdown King’s policies were so egregious that he narrowly escaped a recall. 

The Lockdown King has ably demonstrated that rules are for the little people only. 

Newsom got caught violating the lockdown rules by hanging out with friends at a birthday dinner at the French Laundry during the height of the lockdowns. 

He further violated the mask ON! rules of the state and the stadium by appearing maskless while hobnobbing with multiple people during a major NFL football game. 

Not only that, but he along with everyone else INCLUDING Nancy Pelosi broke all the mask and social distancing rules while attending all the Getty wedding festivities. 

Currently, all students and teachers across the state are required to wear masks in schools under Newsom’s mandate, which was brought into effect when in-person classes resumed in August and September.

Two students – Drew and Victoria Nelson — were ordered to stay away from their high school in Temecula back in August after they refused to wear masks.

“They were sent home and told not to come back with or without a mask,” their father, Gary Nelson, told NBC News at the time.

“If they do, they would be charged with trespassing.”

There you go. Gavin Newsom could break all the rules he imposed, but kids rebelling against the vaccine and mask mandates would be criminally charged. 

Remember though, he’s super grateful.

Here’s something else to consider concerning Newsom’s Covid diagnosis. He’s using Paxlovid. 

Paxlovid was approved for emergency use in those 12 years and older, weighing at least 88 pounds who are at high risk of progressing to severe disease. The pill must be prescribed by a doctor.

“Patients in the authorized population with a risk factor for progression to severe COVID-19 are eligible for Paxlovid under the EUA even if they are fully vaccinated,” the FDA stated. “Patients do not have to have more than one risk factor to be considered ‘high risk.'”

Let me get this straight. The Lockdown King has gotten Covid. By all accounts and appearance, Newsom is a healthy fit guy. So why is he on Paxlovid when he doesn’t seem to fit the criteria? Also, the side effects are nothing to sneeze about. 

All this to say, while I don’t wish anyone ill health, isn’t it ironic that the Lockdown King, despite all precautions (unless he never followed them in the first place), is now dealing with the very virus he tried to save Californians from?
