Liz Cheney is definitely not a fan of President Trump’s decisive victory last night. And she’s making sure we all know it.
She not only hitched her wagon to the excrement that was the January 6 Committee, which saw the likes of Cassidy Hutchinson change her testimony and change attorneys with Liz’s unethical help; she decided to go all in on supporting Kamala Harris for President. As a campaign surrogate for Kamala, Liz went on the campaign lecture circuit wherein she spent several weeks warning Americans that another January 6 will happen if Trump prevails.
As we are seeing with voter results, January 6 was NOT on anyone’s radar. Nor was the continued mantra that Trump is a Nazi. To be blunt, Liz, it ‘was the economy stupid!’
The Democrats thought they could hot swap Joe Biden out for Kamala Harris and set her up to fail by trying to get her to campaign in a few months for what normally takes upwards of a year to accomplish.
They demonstrated that even the primary process is a pure technicality. They shoved an unimpressive candidate down the throats of registered Democrats while trying to convince them that Kamala is more politically nutritious than Joe Biden.
But you can’t run off of “Donald Trump is a Nazi” when he was already in power and didn’t do Nazi things. Voters look at what’s happening in the country the day they vote and pragmatically base it on what they’re experiencing at the moment.
In recent months, multiple sectors of our economy ranging from blue collar to white collar have faced layoffs. Just recently, Pepsi shut down one of its facilities in Chicago overnight despite it being a union shop and told they didn’t have a job when they came in that morning.
You can’t sell to the public that you’re going to get four more years of economic hardship or uncertainty and expect them to buy it. Donald Trump’s constant focus on the state of the economy was the big sell and it clearly worked.
Liz tried, just a few days ago to claim that women will dictate the election in favor of Kamala because you know, women.
I really wonder how The View is going to handle things today, I’m sure they’ll be fun to watch. However, Liz’s statement early this morning shows she’s learned NOTHING.
“Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect,” Cheney, a prominent critic of the former president, wrote on the social platform X. “All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections.”
“We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years,” she continued. “Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.”
It doesn’t take a Rhodes scholar to read between the lines here. Liz is advocating for more law fare against Trump, wants the press to help in this effort, and hopes all those in the Swamp will continue their efforts to sabotage him over the next four years.
Fine words from someone whose sham committee helped lock up American citizens. https://t.co/mb9xzzeePi

Liz Cheney won’t let January 6 die. And now, with this statement from her, Liz is really showing us all who she is. Someone who will undermine a President and Administration because of her intense dislike of one man. What she refuses to realize is that her push for more law fare against Trump is undermining this Republic, the very Republic she condescendingly opines that she’s working so hard to uphold.
Embracing Liz Cheney as a closing argument will go down as one of the dumbest decisions to ever be made in politics.

It alienated everyone. There was zero upside.
The infuriating part about this is, there WILL be law fare against Trump. The media, the swamp, and Liz will do their best to ensure it.
Liz lost to Harriett Hageman and the results of the J6 Committee didn’t keep President-Elect Donald Trump from a second term. America elected the firefighter instead of her arsonist pal. That has to REALLY chap her hide.

Gee. Imagine that! A card carrying member of the Uniparty wanting things to return to the Lawfare of the past four years so she can become relevant again! Who woulda thunk?
She should go hunting with her father…
She tried hard, and she lost big! She will never accept the loss.
“What she refuses to realize is that her push for more law fare against Trump is undermining this Republic, the very Republic she condescendingly opines that she’s working so hard to uphold. ”
Yes, she is undermining the Republic. She has a mistaken idea that this is a “democracy”, ergo she doesn’t uphold the system we actually have.
She obviously don’t understand, or don’t want to, the concept of a true democracy.
Liz Cheney has entered Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs territory.
