Award-winning actress Julia Roberts left her California bubble for the wilds of Canton, Georgia. Miss Roberts and election denier Stacy Abrams teamed up to campaign for abortions rights and urge women and MEN to vote for Kamala Harris. That’s exactly what the fine folks of Georgia need; a Hollywood type coming in after a hurricane to make sure everyone votes for baby-killing and unity.

The reason that Miss Roberts campaigned in Georgia is that she is from Smyrna about 30 minutes South of Canton. She has not lived in Georgia for close to 40 years. I haven’t live in California for 35 years. I am not a Californian, I am a Tennessean. Roberts in a Californian, not a Georgian. But, star power is a draw:

This Wednesday (October 9), the Oscar-winning actor made a bold move in support of the Democratic presidential nominee and her running mate, Tim Walz. Julia attended a Cherokee County Reproductive Freedom Rally in Canton, Georgia, and got onstage to remind voters of what’s at stake in this year’s election—specifically, women’s reproductive freedom.

The actor was joined by the state’s Democratic Party leader, Stacey Abrams, as she made her impassioned speech.

While Cherokee County leans fiercely conservative, Julia, a Georgia native, pointed to the issues that another Donald Trump presidency could mean for women and families, especially as Georgia recently reinstated its strict ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy—a highly constraining move that would not have been possible had Trump not pushed for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and appointed three justices in service of that goal.

Julia Roberts is not an ingenue these days. She’s in her late 50’s so the smiling shyness is a little off putting. Here is her speech:

Roberts wanted to talk to the audience like they were at her kitchen table. What is it with the kitchen table? Don’t these people realize Americans have firepits and front porches. They heard Biden talk about the “kitchen table” and now they all do it.

“I believe in Georgia. I wouldn’t have come home if I didn’t believe that we can accomplish really beautiful goals that will extend beyond our state’s borders,” Roberts said in Canton, according to Harper’s Bazaar. “I just hope that all the women here tonight talk to all the men that aren’t here tonight. And all you brave men who are here tonight, talk to all the other men who aren’t here tonight.”

Roberts, who was joined at the event by former Georgia state Rep. Stacey Abrams (D), pressed attendees to “talk to all the people” in their lives, no matter which party they are affiliated with.

“Maybe they don’t understand things quite the way you do,” she said. “Bring them into a conversation. Make sure they’re registered to vote — even if they’re not voting for the person you think they should vote for. It is the United States of America, and we’ve been lacking in the ‘united’ part for so long.”

How can it be that we are not “united”? Joe Biden said in his speech January 20, 2021 that he was going to be a unity President. The theme of his first address was “America United”.

Biden used the word "unity" eight times in his Inaugural Address. The fact that he still has to plead for unity after three and-a-half years is a sign of failure in no small part because of the vindictiveness of his party and the bias of the prosecutorial apparatus it has abused.

Unity will be achieved if only we can kill more unborn babies. “Let’s get to the uniting.” “Let’s get to the joy.” Does Miss Roberts realize who the President and Vice President have been for the last four years.

Julia must be exhausted. She comes off being tired and having no substance. She should go back to California.
