He’s ba-aaack: your favorite fired former FBI Director, James Comey. And he’s just as arrogant and narcissistic as you might remember.
The man who leaked to the liberal media like a spaghetti drainer and shared classified documents with at least one person lacking the clearance to view them, had this to say on Saturday afternoon, with a straight face I might add, on leaking and transparency:
From ABC News:
‘I can’t tell what’s going on with the attorney general and that investigation,’ he said. ‘I was deeply concerned by some things he said early on. …I don’t know what they’re looking at. So I’m not really in a position to say you shouldn’t investigate.’ ”
” ‘I would hope that Mr. Durham will do everything possible to protect his reputation from being damaged by those in leadership, and the most important way you can do that is give us transparency,’ Comey added. ‘Gather the facts, write a report and share it with the American people.’ “
Parson me while I laugh hysterically.
Ooooor…maybe Director Wray, the current FBI head, should just, you know, usurp the Attorney General’s power and make unilateral decisions. You know, like you did with the Hillary Clinton investigation. See the Inspector General’s report on your egregious conduct. It’ll jog your memory.
Next up; watch this:

Screeeech. Hold up there, Sparky. “Why we did what we did”?
Sounds like an admission to me. Which raises some questions, like:
Seems like Comey is admitting they undertook extraordinary and unusual efforts, but that those extraordinary and unusual efforts were in his judgement warranted due to his noble motives.
He was justified in his malfeasance, because, well, Orange Man Bad.

What No-Profile-Pic Scibelli said.
But wait, there’s more. From the ABC News article:
‘The House has no choice but to pursue an impeachment inquiry. All I know about the facts are coming from news accounts,” Comey said during a wide-ranging interview at Politicon…’ ”
“As he unleashed a blistering rebuke of Trump’s alleged conduct, Comey added, ‘If the news accounts are accurate, the president engaged in a shocking abuse of power.’ “
By “The House has no choice”…I think what Comey really means is because otherwise, Donald Trump “will get re-elected,” and the investigations into Comey’s shenanigans—which included spying on the current president and reportedly the former attorney general—will likely continue under AG Barr. Fixed that for ya. Oh, and could impeachment be the Plan B, C, D…remedy discussed in Mr. McCabe’s office, the remedy that would serve to throw a permanent wet blanket over Mr. Comey’s malfeasance? Naw, surely Comey’s words are purely altruistic…
Oh, and “abuse of power.” That’s rich given the FISA abuse Mr. Comey was reportedly directly involved in. The IG’s report on which—reported to be voluminous—is about to be released to the public.
It’s interesting that Mr. Comey pops up like a whack-a-mole every time the various current investigations into the antics of former Obama intel heads ventures down a new path, as it has this past week, where the IG investigation as now morphed into a criminal investigation following visits to Italy by AG Barr and Inspector General Durham. Mr. Comey must know full well why the two men visited that country, and he must know what that might mean for him. So when he suddenly shows up again with a mic in his hand, for me it’s a case of methinks thou doth protest too much. And the new sheriff in town is likely jotting down everything he says.
James Comey has thus far skated on paying the piper for what anyone with half a brain cell, whether you like the president or not, recognizes was (and still is) a deep state op designed to prevent Donald Trump from winning an election, and then after he did, crippling and/or preventing him from serving out his term. The intel agencies’ (very likely) lawless behavior is what the current impeachment nonsense is designed to bury, along with further hamstringing of the president in an effort to win next year’s election and thus entomb what is quite possibly the biggest political scandal in American history.
So the only way Comey can believe in America is if deep state stooge like himself can subvert the will of voters?
What a low life dirt bag.

I concur, Mr. Phillips.
And then there’s this, in case you missed it:
Altering 302s. If accurate, I thiiiiink that might be illegal.
James Comey—who apparently fancies himself our republic’s white-knight—should be worried. James Clapper should be worried. John Brennan should be worried. A lot of other former Obama Administration intel and justice bureaucrats should be worried. And if equal justice still exists in America, it won’t be New Zealand from which Mr. Comey will be observing Donald Trump’s second term; it’ll be a prison cell that houses those who commit sedition against their sitting government. Sadly, though we may eventually get some version of the small-t truth of what happened both preceding and after the 2016 election, we may grow old and gray waiting for justice to follow.

He may want to move to a country that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the US.
Comey really, really needs some private time in Gitmo.
He does. Next to one of the ISIS terrorists the left now glorifies.
FBI’s “302” practice really ought to be outlawed by Congress – or if that’d be an invasion by the legislative branch, the President ought to require the FBI to record all witness interviews.
Witness interviews should be recorded. Period. While I generally despise the idea of “substantive due process,” a person accused of a crime should have a verbatim transcript of the interrogation of any witness, and certainly of any statement they’ve made.
The only reason the FBI refuses to do it is because being “stuck” with verbatim transcripts would make their job more difficult. They LIKE being able to “clean up” their record by “editing” the 302’s . . . . which is corrupt, in and of itself.
As much as I do not like Comey and his peers, nothing will happen to them, they will never be arrested or put in jail.
