Such a cute little J6 kangaroo she is! Liz Cheney gets a Presidential participation trophy! Joe Biden is handing her the nation’s highest civilian award, the Presidential Citizens Medal, for her avid and unethical work as a co-chair of the sham J6 Committee.

I thought it was a joke at first. But noooo…it’s definitely real. 

Biden will bestow the honor on Cheney — one of the GOP’s most outspoken critics of President-elect Donald Trump, who joined Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on the campaign trail last year in a bipartisan push to defeat him — less than three weeks before Trump is inaugurated.

Cheney served as vice chair of the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters, and in October, she urged Americans to reject his “depraved cruelty” as she rallied alongside Harris. A majority of voters were not persuaded by that argument.

It was bad enough that when she went after President Trump, Wyoming voters kicked her to the curb in the biggest blowout primary ever! Then, when she threw her support to Kamala Harris, it just capped it. Conservative? Not hardly. Republican? Definitely not. Constitutionalist? Given her avid persecution of anyone in, near, or even in the remote outskirts of Washington D.C. on January 6, I think NOT. 

The White House statement of their reasoning to hand Liz and Bennie Thompson their participation trophies is laughable and infuriating. 

Throughout two decades in public service, including as a Congresswoman for Wyoming and Vice Chair of the Committee on the January 6 attack, Liz Cheney has raised her voice—and reached across the aisle—to defend our Nation and the ideals we stand for: Freedom. Dignity. And decency. Her integrity and intrepidness remind us all what is possible if we work together.

Born and raised in a segregated Mississippi, as a college student inspired by the Civil Rights movement, Bennie Thompson volunteered on campaigns and registered southern Black voters. That call to serve eventually led him to Congress, where he chaired the House January 6th Committee—at the forefront of defending the rule of law with unwavering integrity and a steadfast commitment to truth.

Freedom? Decency? The Rule of Law? AYFKM??!! They stood for NONE of that during their tenure on the J6 Committee.

There are terabytes of data missing, and files were deleted. Which shouldn’t be because the RULES mean that ALL data (depositions, interviews, testimony, emails, and more) was to be preserved. ALL OF IT. And it wasn’t. Who were the chairs of that committee who were supposed to have everyone follow the rules? Liz and Bennie. 

Furthermore, they promoted false narratives throughout the kangaroo proceedings and Liz should be in very hot water for her purposeful lapse in ethics regarding Cassidy Hutchinson. 

WY Senator John Barrasso is not amused by Liz’s receipt of the Presidential participation trophy. 

“President Biden was either going to pardon Liz Cheney or give her an award,” Barrasso said. “She doesn’t deserve either. She represents partisanship and divisiveness — not Wyoming.”

That partisanship, divisiveness, and lectures are completely why WY voters kicked her to the curb and stomped on her for good measure during her primary. 

This is definitely a participation trophy and a huge slap in the face to everyone that the J6 committee went after. Nick Searcy nails it:

Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson have done nothing to deserve this award. 

They should be held accountable for destroying records and for ethics violations. Yet they won’t be. Which is a shame, because they are making a mockery of what this Presidential Civilians Medal really stands for. 

“The Presidential Citizens Medal is awarded to citizens of the United States of America who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens. President Biden believes these Americans are bonded by their common decency and commitment to serving others. The country is better because of their dedication and sacrifice,”

Liz Cheney has sacrificed NOTHING and her role on the sham J6 Kangaroo committee is the very opposite of exemplary deeds of service to this Republic. 

This is a political and personal insult to everyone.
