So much for Joe Biden’s stern “don’t.” Iran has now launched drones and ballistic missiles against Israel.

Iran says it has launched ballistic missiles as part of its attack targeting Israel.

The state-run IRNA news agency quoted an anonymous official saying ballistic missiles were part of the attack.

Already, slow-moving Shahed-136 bomb-carrying drones have been seen in the skies over Iran. However, those are more easily shot down.

A ballistic missile moves on an arch trajectory, heading up into space before gravity brings the weapon down at a speed several times faster than the speed of sound.

Israel has missile defense systems capable of targeting ballistic missiles. However, in a massive attack involving multiple drones and missiles like the campaign launched late Saturday by Iran, the likelihood of a strike making it through is higher.

The combination of the bomb-carrying drones and ballistic missiles is bad news…for Israel and for all of us. There’ve been multiple reports of Jordan and Syria closing their airspace, and Israel has closed theirs. 

Joe had to give up his weekend in Delaware to come back to DC and act like he’s doing something as President. 

Iran has begun an airborne attack against Israel. President Biden is being regularly updated on the situation by his national security team and will meet with them this afternoon at the White House. His team is in constant communication with Israeli officials as well as other partners and allies. This attack is likely to unfold over a number of hours. President Biden has been clear: our support for Israel’s security is ironclad. The United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defense against these threats from Iran.

Excuse me for a minute while I go throw things. This is the same guy who, along with the State Department, has continually lectured Israel about keeping Gaza civilians safe from harm and warned them not to retaliate against anyone let alone Iran, even though it is common and verified knowledge that Iran has supported Hamas and Hezbollah for DECADES. 

And now, when Joe finger-wags and implores Iran to “don’t,” Iran essentially tells the U.S. to ‘EFF OFF’ and launches attacks on Israel anyway.

Iran warned the world just two days ago that they were going to go ahead with this attack. 

Had the UN Security Council condemned the Zionist regime’s reprehensible act of aggression on our diplomatic premises in Damascus and subsequently brought to justice its perpetrators, the imperative for Iran to punish this rogue regime might have been obviated.

All because Israel obliterated a major Iranian general and several of his staff. Which is good riddance by the way. But remember what happened when Trump turned Soleimani into dust? What did Iran do then?

NOTHING 

But with Joe supposedly large and in charge, Iran has ramped up their nuclear program, is helping Hezbollah launch rockets into Israel, trained Hamas and funded their October 7 attack, and is now directly attacking Israel. 

Not only did Obama’s pallets of cash help build this, so did Joe’s handing over millions to Iran these last couple of years. 

Iran sold thousands of these weapons to Russia that were subsequently used against targets in the Ukraine, according to Haaretz.

Iran has also provided them to Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The kamikaze drones have a range of more than 1,500 miles and can carry 80-pound warheads, according to ArmyTechnology.com.

Iran said in August it had built an advanced drone, the Mohajer-10, with an operational range of 1,240 miles, The Times of Israel reported.

They are capable of flying for up to 24 hours with loads as large as 660 pounds.

The IDF said it is tracking at least 100 drones.

Now there is a school of thought that this attack won’t succeed and we won’t end up in a ground war, and the reasoning is sound. However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be repercussions after the fact. What that will look like is anyone’s guess at the moment. 

As usual, what they say in Arabic is the opposite of what they do in the real world.

That is very true. Iran meanwhile is really doing their damndest to poke all the bears. 

Iran’s Mission to the UN stated at 1:06 a.m. that the attack on Israel “can be deemed concluded.”
“However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!” added the Iranian mission.

You can darned well bet that Iran has more drones and missiles up their sleeve. 

Immediately after inauguration, Team Biden rushed to the UN to end the embargo on Iranian advanced drones and missiles. Then they stopped enforcing oil sanctions and did ransom deals, sending $100 billion toward Iran to build those weapons.

Iran is issuing multiple threats to countries in the Middle East.

Iran’s defense minister, Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, told state television that any country that allows its airspace to be used for attacks on Iran will be a target. “Any country that allows its airspace or soil to be used for Israel to attack Iran will receive a firm response from us.”

There will be much more in the coming hours and days in terms of Israel’s defense, what Jordan and Saudi Arabia do, and how the U.S. responds. One thing is clear, Joe’s foreign policy – the LACK thereof helped create this debacle, and now Israel is under attack. 

AND….this is not good.
