#Girls Writer Murray Miller Being Investigated For Rape Of Minor [VIDEO]

Writer Murray Miller, most known for his work with Lena Dunham on her fame vehicle known as “Girls,” stands accused of raping actress Aurora Perrineau when she was underage. Known for her work in films like Passengers and Equals, she filed a police report with the LAPD at their West Hollywood station. Evidently, the incident happened five years ago when the actress was 17 years old. Evidently, Murray was drunk and asked her for a ride home. She and her friends brought him home and made the mistake of going inside his house. She describes waking up in his bed naked, with the writer on top of her engaged in sexual intercourse. She claims that she had told him repeatedly throughout the preceding evening that she was underage.

In a none-too-shocking turn of events, Dunham and partner Jenni Konner issued a statement in support of Miller that accuses Perrineau of lying about their employee.

“During the windfall of deeply necessary accusations over the last few months in Hollywood, we have been thrilled to see so many women’s voices heard and dark experiences in this industry justified. It’s a hugely important time of change and, like every feminist in Hollywood and beyond, we celebrate. But during every time of change there are also incidences of the culture, in its enthusiasm and zeal, taking down the wrong targets. We believe, having worked closely with him for more than half a decade, that this is the case with Murray Miller. While our first instinct is to listen to every woman’s story, our insider knowledge of Murray’s situation makes us confident that sadly this accusation is one of the 3 percent of assault cases that are misreported every year. It is a true shame to add to that number, as outside of Hollywood women still struggle to be believed. We stand by Murray and this is all we’ll be saying about this issue.”

In other words, we should believe all victims who report sexual assault, except ones that accuse our friends and people who make us money. Ah, ok, duly noted Lena. This is hardly surprising since Ms. Dunham is a well-known hypocrite. After all, this is the same woman who supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election cycle. You know, the same Hillary Clinton who worked to discredit and frankly ruin the accusers who named husband Bill Clinton as their sexual abuser in the 1990’s?

Lena Dunham and the cast of Girls

Of course, Miller is accusing Ms. Perrineau of extortion, saying that he had been contacted by lawyers on Ms. Perrineau’s behalf in an effort to seek monetary damages.

“After being contacted several weeks ago by lawyers who—on Ms. Perrineau’s behalf—sought substantial monetary damages from him, Mr. Miller’s legal team gathered overwhelming evidence directly contradicting these false and offensive claims.

‘Only after her demands for money were rebuffed did Ms. Perrineau go to the police. Mr. Miller looks forward to sharing all evidence and information with any and all authorities seeking the truth in this matter.’ “

While this is certainly shaping up to be a wild ride of he said she said, I am going to go out on a limb and say that I believe the victim in this case. I also think it is really interesting that Ms. Dunham, who actively talks about “white privilege” is out there working to discredit the claims of a woman of color. So I guess it is only required to listen to a woman of color when she has been assaulted by someone who is not in Ms. Dunham’s inner circle. That seems a little too convenient, and frankly hypocritical.

Aurora Perrineau and her father, Lost actor Harold Perrineau

Is it such a stretch to think that someone who writes for such a foul series, and is employed by a person like Lena Dunham—who actively supports political candidates who work to discredit sexual assault survivors and supports the murder of the unborn via Planned Parenthood—would also work to discredit a woman who is potentially interfering with her cash cow? No, I don’t think so either. I wish Ms. Perrineau all good things if her claims are in fact true in her support for justice. For Ms. Dunham and her ilk, I say if all victims are to be believed, that includes ones who accuse your friends. You cannot have it both ways, Lena.

Update: Twitter isn’t having it! Conservatives, like AJ Delgado, and liberals alike are ROASTING Ms. Dunham on Twitter.

And her fans aren’t too keen on her defense of Miller either it seems.

I agree wholeheartedly with every sentiment expressed in these tweets. You cannot have it both ways Lena-either you believe every victim, or you don’t. Period.
