George Gascon Loses Lawsuit to the Tune of $1.5 Million

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon beat back a recall effort last August but good news for one of his deputy da’s as a jury just awarded her $1.5 million for Gascon’s workplace retaliation against her.

Shawn Randolph sued Gascon, claiming she was transferred from supervising the DA’s juvenile division, and effectively demoted, for speaking out against his policies, which have come under heavy scrutiny from his own prosecutors and elected officials. Randolph previously raised concerns that Gascon’s criminal justice reforms could be harmful or unethical.

Gascon is one of George Soros’ roster of radical District Attorneys he spent millions upon millions of dollars to get into office. Once there, they all have taken a pro-criminal position including the refusal to file charges on a whole host of crimes.

Los Angeles County has a population of ten million people so ignoring or dragging feet on everything from vandalism to commercial burglary is hard to ignore. Especially when it creates an atmosphere that enables crime … and it explodes.

Gascon not only rode into the DA office like a conquering hero, but he also immediately set out to remake the prosecutor’s office into a pale imitation of the public defender’s office.

Gascon has rarely waivered from his pro-criminal position. And he’s fast to wage war on his own office, whether it is demoting dda’s like Ms. Randolph for the temerity of disagreeing with his reckless policies or even suspending prosecutor Shea Sanna for the dreaded and unforgiveable sin of misgendering a convicted child molester and current murder suspect.

Shea Sanna, who had been the lead prosecutor for part of the case, is accused of misgendering and “deadnaming” the convicted child molester Hannah Tubbs, who is now accused of beating a man to death in the woods with a rock in Kern County.

Sanna has argued in the past that jailhouse phone calls show Tubbs, now 27, was attempting to use gender identity to game the justice system – an argument that sources say made others in Gascon’s office uncomfortable and led to the suspension.

Maybe $1.5 million might get Gascon’s attention but Soros has deep pockets.

And it makes one smile to know that there about a dozen other lawsuits from dda’s Gascon has stomped making their way through the system.

We’re going to need a bigger tub of popcorn.

Gascón only lost face. LA taxpayers lost the $1.5 million.

And yet LA taxpayers not only elected Gascon the first time but refused to turn him out via recall. And they elected Karen Bass, too, who is going to politically purge the LAPD.

If there are any righteous people left in Los Angeles, they need to either turn it around or get out now.

Get out of LA and California altogether but leave your liberal politics back home and do not infect Red states.
