Everyone grab the popcorn buckets. After getting booted from WNBA game in Chicago, Enes Kanter Freedom has decided to file a federal lawsuit.
At that game, Enes wore a t-shirt defining what a woman is. People weren’t pleased. Especially Chicago Sky player, Natasha Cloud. She decided to start screaming at him after he celebrated a 3-pointer by Sophie Cunningham. Evidently Natasha was worried that Enes wanted to date Sophie, thus she ended up making a fool of herself.
But what did the building security do, with the approval of the Chicago Sky management? Make Enes the bad guy and get him booted from the rest of the game.
Then the WNBA huddled and tried mightily to run away from defining what a woman is while issuing a mealy-mouthed statement.
Well, Enes has decided to continue pushing the WNBA into taking a stand one way or the other.
Enes Kanter Freedom filed a federal lawsuit in Illinois on Thursday over the way he says he was mistreated at a WNBA game last month.
The former Boston Celtics center sued the Chicago Sky, the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority and the City of Chicago, alleging all three entities unjustly had him booted from the Sky vs. Fever game on Aug. 23 at Wintrust Arena.

Freedom said he did nothing out of line while attending the now-infamous Sky vs. Fever game, yet he claimed he was nonetheless wronged at the venue.
Freedom wore a shirt that read, “WOMAN noun, adult human female,” which he insisted did not violate the WNBA Fan Code of Conduct. He also said that while he did stand and raise his arms during the game, it was merely to celebrate a 3-point basket by Sophie Cunningham, a Fever superstar who previously made headlines for her stance on barring trans athletes from women’s sports.
However, in the third quarter, he alleged Sky guard Natasha Cloud “without provocation, initiated a vulgar, profanity-laced verbal tirade” at him.
Which she did. Something we and many other blogs have documented. Furthermore, Natasha has gone on to social media trying to paint Enes as the bad guy.
Except he’s just a guy who has declared himself as a woman and really, REALLY wants to play in the WNBA. Natasha should have NO problem with that.

Especially since a federal judge has now told the world that biological boys can definitely be allowed to play in girls high school sports.
The Trump administration’s fight to keep biological males out of girls’ sports suffered a California court setback Monday — but the Justice Department is gearing up for the next round.
US District Judge Cynthia Valenzuela, a Democrat, dismissed the DOJ’s lawsuit challenging California’s policy allowing transgender girls to compete on girls’ school teams, leaving the state’s controversial rules in place.
The ruling, however, was not a finding that California’s policy is required by Title IX.
Instead, Valenzuela dismissed the case after determining that the federal government had not adequately notified California that its federal funding could be jeopardized if schools continued allowing transgender girls to compete on girls’ teams.
Well, that judge split an incredibly fine hair and twisted herself into a pretzel while doing so.
Because of that ruling it’s clear that, for now, biological boys can decide to play in high school girls sports with zero repercussions. Is that any different from Enes declaring he’s a woman and asking to try out for the WNBA? Nope.
What’s also interesting about this is what others, such as the Chicago Sky owner were saying about that game.
Sky owner Michael Alter said Kanter Freedom had begun to “chirp” and “engage” Cloud in what he believes was an effort to provoke her. Cloud has been a vocal supporter of LBGTQ+ rights.
“[Kanter Freedom] has demonstrated to us, unequivocally, that he has the potential to be a threat,” Alter said. “That he is not able to control himself to the extent where we can be comfortable that he may [not] step towards the court again and towards the players.
“So, so that is the basis for which we will not permit him into the building until such time as he can prove otherwise.”
Oh, so Enes was harassing the players? Really? Was Alter standing near or next to Enes when all this was happening? Or was he up in his cushy owners box?
Of course, Alter doesn’t address that fact that it was Cloud that started the ball rolling when she began screaming at Kanter from halfway down the court.
To sum it up, this is what Enes said when announcing his lawsuit, which you can read here.
You don’t have to agree with my speech but you don’t get to silence me for it.
I will not be intimidated.
I will not be silenced.I will continue to stand for women and defend free speech.
Both of which are something that the WNBA is incapable of doing at this time.

Did “that judge split an incredibly fine hair and twist() herself into a pretzel” or were Trump and his lackeys sloppy again?
When one has the might of the State — federal, state, or local — behind one’s diktat, there is no justification for sloppy work. Would Nina Bookout stay silent if the might of the imperial federal bureaucracy came down on her. How forgiving of Trumpie oopsies would she be?
Micha. That sloppy rant made zero sense except it sure sounds like a bad case of TDS.
And just how will he be able to prove to them that he can control himself at a game, when he is not allowed to attend any games? Hope he sues these dumbarses into a hole so deep they can longer see daylight at noon.
“can longer” = “can no longer”
