The probe regarding Russia’s supposed hacking of last year’s election just got murkier. First, The Intercept caused heads to spin and twitterverse to hyperventilate just a bit with this bit of info:

Interesting timing when one considers that Megyn Kelly, in a less than triumphant return (see ratings) to TV, aired the interview with Vladimir Putin last night. During which, in regards to Russian hacking and compromising information about President Trump, he denied having the information or even hacking systems to obtain it.
So when The Intercept published what it had today, many thought AH HA! While others were thinking…wait, wasn’t that what we saw a while back?
However, there ARE details in the NSA report that The Intercept published that was a big red flag to the Department of Justice. So much so, that this happened over the weekend:
A criminal complaint was filed in the Southern District of Georgia today charging Reality Leigh Winner, 25, a federal contractor from Augusta, Georgia, with removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet, in violation of 18 U.S.C. Section 793(e).
Winner was arrested by the FBI at her home on Saturday, June 3, and appeared in federal court in Augusta this afternoon. [Emphasis Added]
Yes, you read the above correctly.
The alleged leaker's name is Reality Leigh Winner.

Winner had been employed at Pluribus International Corporation since mid-February and held a Top Secret security clearance. According to the Department of Justice press release, Winner admitted to specifically searching for, finding, and printing out classified information. It was classified information that she was NOT on the Need To Know list for. In other words, that classified intel was WAY above her security clearance!
Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein had this to say:
“Releasing classified material without authorization threatens our nation’s security and undermines public faith in government. People who are trusted with classified information and pledge to protect it must be held accountable when they violate that obligation,” Rosenstein said in a statement.
Good. Meanwhile, as is pointed out here, there are at least five others that the feds need to be arresting and soon.

The leaks, careless handling of, and stealing classified intel should NEVER end well for the one who violates their security clearance. Which leads me to this question.

What one should remember that Hillary actually was Putin’s favorite. She gave Russia nuclear secrets during first Obama’s term. She was getting huge amounts from Moscow. And she was all for obamaist “reset” policy that would have brought America on its knees before rampaging neo-soviet Russia.
