DNC Chair Tom Perez was on ABC’s This Week with Martha Radditz to apply a little damage control to the Democrat 2020 Presidential Campaign. He likened the icky story told by Tara Reade to Hillary Clinton’s emails, claiming there was no there there. The fact that Perez trusts creepy Joe Biden shows the desperation of the entire Democrat machinery.

It was absolutely necessary for Perez to defend Biden because of Joe’s less than adequate performance with Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe. Nina wrote about that poor showing and you can read it here. And, if you aren’t aware of the Tara Reade experience with the increasingly creepy Joe the New York Post has the latest details here. From the Post article:

“I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable,” Reade told The Associated Press. “I know that I was too scared to write about the sexual assault” in the complaint.

Reade has accused Biden of pressing her up against a wall and penetrating her with his fingers — an allegation he strenuously denied Friday.

That’s so gross.

Perez should never have mentioned Hillary Clinton’s emails as having no there there. The serpent-like James Comey said Hillary was really sloppy in her handling of her emails and the Department of Justice refused to block a Hillary deposition, so it’s all still being litigated. Fortunately, the DNC can’t BleachBit this away.

The biggest reason the creepy former Vice President can’t get shed of the Reade accusation is that it fits the pattern we have seen for years. Check out this video compilation. Hide your wives and daughters, Biden is in the room. Although it’s not just young women, remember when Joe had his hand on the Police Chief’s leg at Dover Air Force Base?

For the most creeptacular mental picture though, Lucy Flores wins the prize with an article she wrote for The Cut last year. Miss Flores was running to be the Lieutenant Governor of Nevada in 2014. It was tough sledding. The DNC offered to have then Vice President Biden come out to campaign just before election day. Here are Miss Flores’s words from her article:

As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd, I felt two hands on my shoulders. I froze. “Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?”

I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair. I was mortified. I thought to myself, “I didn’t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual fuck? Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?” He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head. My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused. There is a Spanish saying, “tragame tierra,” it means, “earth, swallow me whole.” I couldn’t move and I couldn’t say anything. I wanted nothing more than to get Biden away from me. My name was called and I was never happier to get on stage in front of an audience.

My skin crawls every time I read that. And, shades of Tara Reade, Miss Flores felt that she had no recourse:

After the event, I told a few of my staff what happened. We all talked about the inexplicable weirdness of what he did, but I didn’t plan on telling anyone else. I didn’t have the language or the outlet to talk about what happened. Who do you tell? What do you say? Is it enough of a transgression if a man touches and kisses you without consent, but doesn’t rise to the level of what most people consider sexual assault? I did what most women do, and moved on with my life and my work.

Miss Reade may not have mentioned the sexual assault but she did talk about being “uncomfortable”, which is another way of saying “inexplicable weirdness”. Victory Girls’ Lisa Carr has more on this in a post she wrote when this article first came out.

Miss Flores mentions the heinous “boys will be boys” trope. I am the daughter of a man, the sister of a man, the wife of a man, and the mother of a man. Boys may be boys, but men do not touch a woman with whom they are unfamiliar. Men treat the women they meet as they would want the women in their lives treated.

Because of the creepy behavior and Joe’s selling out every office he has ever held, I do not believe that Joe Biden will end up being the 2020 Democrat candidate. The Democrats will find a way to jettison Joe and pick a player to be named later. Creepy Joe has got to go. The Dems really don’t trust him.
