The Los Angeles mayoral race is now in viral territory thanks to Spencer Pratt, and Democrats have no clue how to stop him.
And every time they try, they look like complete fools. One of the most recent stunts was when Jimmy Kimmel’s sister-in-law decided to complain that a local grocery store was selling Spencer Pratt for Mayor cookies. It turns out that the baker, Daniela Romano, is also a fire victim.
Daniela Romano works out of the bakery at Vicente Foods in Brentwood and started selling cookies with a “Vote Pratt” emblem on them earlier this week.
The baked goods, a sugar cookie with decorated with the pro-Pratt design, started to gain popularity, selling in masses and drawing ire from Pratt’s critics.
Among the most vocal anti-cookie critics was allegedly Carly Kimmel, the sister-in-law of lefty late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. Carly is married to Jimmy’s brother, Jonathan.
Romano, like Pratt and his family, lost everything in the Palisades Fire — including her home and former business. She did not want to speak with The Post about the controversy surrounding the baked goods.
“That woman (Kimmel) was trying to stop somebody from trying to support their family. I hope they (Kimmel family) go support a fire victim that lost everything and maybe make amends and buy some of these cookies, I think that would be a good apology,” Pratt told The California Post Friday as he held a box of the cookies.
And when Carly Kimmel got called out, she took her social media accounts private because she couldn’t take the heat.
Lol .. she locked down her IG. So many of these twats can dish it out but they can't take it pic.twitter.com/oQkViy7daT

The opposition is becoming increasingly unhinged, but they seem to have realized that underestimating Spencer Pratt is a bad idea. New plan? He’s just like Donald Trump! Why should Los Angeles take a reality TV star seriously as a political candidate???
It’s like you guys learned absolutely nothing from Trump’s rise.
Want Spencer Pratt to not be a serious candidate?

The left doesn’t seem to realize what they are doing.
Democrats are going to learn to regret labeling Pratt and advocating for basic competency and accountability as MAGA. https://t.co/oqqxVVfQTr

Spencer Pratt is resonating with people because he is saying one simple truth: Los Angeles doesn’t HAVE to be like this. And he is adamant that if the law was just enforced, like it is supposed to be, then there would be no need for ICE surges within the city.
The candidate explained that simply enforcing the law and cracking down on crime would eliminate the necessity for ICE agents to come to LA in the first place, and accused Democrat incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and other “activist” mayors of playing politics and hurting their constituents in the process.
“I don’t want ICE in LA — nobody wants ICE in LA, except Karen ‘Basura,’ apparently,” Pratt says in the video. The candidate routinely refers to Mayor Bass as Karen “Basura” — the Spanish word for “garbage.”
“The way you keep ICE out of LA is by enforcing the law, not defying it,” he continued. “I look at what Mayor [Daniel] Lurie did in San Francisco — clearly, no friend of the Trump administration — but he called the president and made a deal. He vowed to have SFPD crack down on crime, and the president agreed to keep ICE out of the city. … You don’t see [any] riots, no crazy videos of ICE agents having chaotic arrests. That’s how it’s done.”
“Why is it that only certain cities are having all this chaos with ICE?” he said. “They are in a lot of cities, but there are only problems in places like LA and Minneapolis. It’s not a Democrat/Republican thing. Memphis doesn’t have chaos. Liberal San Francisco doesn’t have the chaos, unlike LA.”
The “common denominator” in these chaotic cities, Pratt argued, is “activist mayors using their city, their residents, their businesses as fodder for their political grandstanding, and people suffer as a result.”
“By failing to enforce the law, Karen ‘Basura’ is guaranteeing that ICE will flood the city,” he said. “Unlike reckless mayors like Karen ‘Basura,’ adults put their egos aside. They live in the real world and they make deals to protect their communities, and that’s exactly how I will end the ICE raids in LA.”
“Our city is not a political playhouse, it’s our home,” Pratt concluded.
Spencer Pratt is going viral simply for speaking common sense, and the poll numbers have to be inspiring real panic on the left.
A Los Angeles Times poll released last week showed 30% of voters backing Bass, 22% of voters backing Pratt and 20% of voters backing City Council member Nithya Raman, a former Bass ally and a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Sixteen percent of voters were still undecided in the survey.
If no candidate in the June 2 primary gets 50% of the vote, the top two vote-getters will advance to a Nov. 3 runoff.
Bass is the incumbent and is being made to own her failures regarding the fires. Nithya Raman did so poorly during the debate that her plans of running to Bass’s left in the general election are essentially shot. If those poll numbers hold, Spencer Pratt will be taking on Karen Bass in the general election – something that was considered impossible just a month ago.
And if he can do one impossible thing, can he do another and win the general election? He’s certainly making it incredibly hard for Karen Bass to win.

Between that, and people suggesting that Bass might clean up graffiti if it says to “Vote Pratt,” I would not be betting against Spencer Pratt right now.
