Let’s not forget something, in light of the fact that Joe Biden is now on paper as a “elderly man with a poor memory.” Joe Biden is also a corrupt old bastard who made sure that his crack-addled son was able to cash in on Daddy’s name and influence for The Family’s benefit.
While the media focuses in on the reality of Biden’s memory loss surrounding Beau’s death, the House Oversight Committee is still collecting information on the OTHER son and his shady business dealings with foreign entities who really loved the idea that they were buying access – or the “illusion of access” – to Joe Biden. The committee has released the transcript of the testimony of one John Walker, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, who was an eyewitness to Joe just happening to drop in on a “business lunch” with a Chinese energy firm.
Walker, during his closed-door transcribed interview, told congressional investigators that Joe Biden attended a meeting where he, Hunter Biden, their other business partners and CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming were having lunch.
“I don’t remember the exact time, but I remember being in Washington, D.C., and the former vice president stopped by. We were having lunch,” Walker testified, according to a transcript of his interview reviewed by Fox News Digital.
Walker said he did not know the “exact” date, but said “it was 20-probably-17 at some point.”
“I can say it was for certain he was out of office,” Walker said, referring to Joe Biden being out of the Obama administration at the time of the lunch.
Walker said the lunch took place “at the Four Seasons in a restaurant in a private room.”
“I’m certain—I’m certain Ye was there,” Walker said, noting there were also other CEFC business partners.
Ye Jianming, at the time, was the chairman of Chinese energy company CEFC.
Walker said the purpose of the meeting was to discuss “ways we could work together.”
“I don’t think we had structured a deal on how to work together at this point,” Walker said, noting the meeting lasted “probably an hour and a half,” but said Biden “was not” there for the entirety of the meeting.
“The former vice president was not there the entire time. He was there maybe 10 minutes,” Walker said. “He spoke nice, you know, normal pleasantries. I think he probably did most of the talking and then left.”
Walker testified that Biden addressed the entire group—which consisted of approximately 10 CEFC-linked individuals— during his visit.
Walker testified that the visit, and Biden’s appearance, “likely” took place before his Robinson Walker LLC received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited—a CEFC-linked entity.
But Walker maintained that Joe Biden was not involved in any of his business ventures with Hunter Biden, despite his appearance at the lunch.
This is Walker trying to have his cake and eat it, too. He’s admitting that Joe Biden just magically appeared during a “business lunch” in a PRIVATE room at the Four Seasons restaurant. How did Joe Biden know that Hunter was out with “friends” having lunch? This isn’t a coincidental “oh I just happened to be having lunch here and I saw you and thought I would say hi and meet your friends, Hunter” moment. By Walker’s own testimony, this was BEFORE any kind of business deal had been struck, and Joe Biden shows up to a private room to “meet and greet” for ten minutes, proving Hunter’s point that if a business arrangement is made, access to Joe is implied. A $3 million deal for 10 minutes worth of work? Not bad for Old Man Biden.
Biden shows up, gives a 10-minute presentation and days later Hunter's business gets $3 million. Easy-peasy.https://t.co/o8dWYzkH3X

Despite Walker’s defense of Joe as “not being involved” in Hunter’s business, this IS the very definition of “being involved.” Just like when Hunter invoked dear old dad by saying “I am sitting here with my father,” and Devon Archer testifying to the fact that Hunter would put Joe on speakerphone to “discuss the weather” with potential business partners around, this is Joe allowing himself – or inserting himself – to be used by Hunter to prove that Hunter had immediate access to Joe.
This is also worth remembering:

Joe has lied repeatedly about Hunter’s business dealings, he’s lied about his own level of involvement, and he “willfully retained” classified documents that Hunter may very well have accessed while they were just sitting in cardboard boxes next to Joe’s Corvette in the Delaware garage. All of this is important. All of this should be remembered. Joe Biden is corrupt, venal, and made sure that Hunter could sell him in order to enrich the family coffers – which also happened to enable Hunter’s abuse of drugs, women, and employees. Hunter Biden is the living definition of “money for nothing and your chicks for free.”
The House Oversight Committee is trying their hardest to connect all the dots, and to get the American public to pay attention. Joe Biden could have been very well been compromised or blackmailed due to Hunter’s extensive “business” deals that were meant to bag cash for The Family, not to mention Hunter’s dick bagging random women while he was high as a kite.
The problem now is that, as Special Counsel Robert Hur has so eloquently laid out, Joe Biden has pudding for brains and therefore, presents a “sympathetic” picture to a potential jury pool. (Yes, Biden could be faking the whole “I’m just an old guy who can’t remember things” act, but the political fallout from the press conference has been so bad that it makes it unlikely to be an act.) And with that description of Biden now on paper, the chance that he gets impeached before the election shinks to nearly zero. Not that Joe shouldn’t be impeached, if the evidence is rock-solid that quid pro quo bribery took place (think Burisma and Viktor Shokin’s firing), but that the Republican majority in the House is so razor-thin that some Republicans will simply not vote for impeachment because they see Joe as a pathetic old man who has lost his marbles, and may be a lame duck after the election. The House Oversight investigation is still important, but in light of Hur’s report and the political damage it has inflicted, the investigation has lost its proverbial oomph. Political watchers and history will care about Biden’s corruption, but the American people have lost interest. The public is now both overwhelmingly consumed and concerned with Biden’s lack of firing neurons.
While House Oversight should keep following the money, because it will likely lead to Hunter Biden being slapped with FARA violations, the momentum for impeachment has stopped. Joe Biden is more likely to be removed by invoking the 25th Amendment than he would be by impeachment, trial, and conviction. And frankly, the general public would support a 25th Amendment move over impeachment. As a result, Joe Biden is the luckiest corrupt bastard in government. He got to help rake in all the cash for the family, and now is too senile to be held legally culpable. What a way to go down in the history books.
