AOC is all over the news lately given she’s once again teamed up with Bernie Sanders to criss-cross the country bleating about fighting the oligarchy. Her efforts are chock full of hypocrisy and likely Presidential aspirations.

Conservative political commentator Meghan McCain predicted on Thursday that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat, will run for president in 2028, writing in a social media post that the congresswoman’s economic message is “more powerful than people are giving her credit for.”

Ocasio-Cortez has emerged as a prominent figure within the Democratic Party, particularly among progressive circles. Her nationwide “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has drawn substantial crowds across red and blue states, including 36,000 attendees in Los Angeles. Early polling indicates she is among the top contenders for the Democratic nomination in 2028, though some within the party express concerns about her nationwide appeal.

As we’ve written here on multiple occasions, AOC’s hypocrisy on every issue has been glaringly evident. She went to the border during Trump’s first Administration and set up a blatant photo op of her weeping in front of a fence about those poor kids in cages. During the Biden Administration’s wide open borders push, she said and did…nothing. 

She’s all about ensuring that our government will use our taxpayer dollars to pay for everything whether we want it or not, or if this country can even afford it. Her hand is out because money just grows on trees! And, when she gets caught misusing funds and taking extravagant gifts (Met Gala), it’s just an “honest” mistake. Oopsie, my bad. Nothing to see here, move along. 

But, Ocasio-Cortez is accused of using taxpayer funds for apparent campaign-related expenses, according to an ethics compliant submitted by Americans for Public Trust, a nonprofit independent watchdog, to the Office of Congressional Ethics last month. 

The complaint cites records of her taxpayer-funded Members’ Representational Allowance, provided to all members of the House of Representatives to help fund office operations and official duties related to the representation of their constituents, showing that Ocasio-Cortez may have used those funds for dance training. 

According to the record, Ocasio-Cortez made two payments, one to “Juan D Gonzalez” for $3,700 and one to “Bombazo Dance Co Inc.” for $850. Both expenditures included the description “training.”

Evidently dance lessons are the new “training” on how to give speeches and not do anything for your constituents while enjoying tons of Congressional perks, first class plane seats, and private jets costing $15,000 an HOUR.

That climate crisis, Green New Deal stuff is only for the little people. Not AOC. Her hypocrisy speaks volumes to those who are paying close attention to her antics. 

Now, while she’s winging around the country yelling about the oligarchy, has anyone asked if she’ll disavow that sweet sweet campaign funding money from… major oligarchs like Michael Bloomberg? I sincerely doubt it. Especially since it’s looking like she has some Presidential aspirations brewing. Check out this video she released yesterday.

She’s been very very good at division. And it will most certainly continue. Given how she’s the darling of the ultra-progressive left and has consistently preached about ensuring the government is the only solution to everyone’s problems, it wouldn’t surprise me that she’s aiming higher than Chuck Schumer’s Senate seat. 

Chris Cuomo, who has definitely been a surprise since he moved to NewsNation, issued a warning about AOC. 

“AOC has done nothing meaningful in Congress. She’s done it all on social media,” Cuomo began. “And she’s one of your leading names and who’s going to be president?”

“Do you not get this concept of 80/20? She’s an 80/20 loser all day long,” Cuomo continued, suggesting that on most major issues that Americans cared about, Ocasio-Cortez would side with 20% while 80% sided against her. “Why? She is clearly catering to a minority. She’s her own version of MAGA. She’s looking for an outraged enclave.”

“She’s not about the majority, she’s not about consensus. She’s not about solutions,” he concluded. “She wants government to give you everything. She’s a socialist in a capitalist society. What are you thinking!?”

He’s absolutely correct. And that’s a big problem. Why? Because what she’s preaching resonates with the 20 yr old student protestor progressives we see on college campuses these days. Those and the extreme leftists in the Democrat party are whom she’s catering too. They are the voting demographic who help elect the extreme liberals in state and federal government such as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman, and more. 

Her message of economic populism is dangerous for this country, but too many will listen and nod their heads like lemmings. Furthermore, want to bet she starts sounding more…moderate pretty soon?

We can, and will, call out her hypocrisy. We can point and laugh at her stance on the oligarchy. But we should also keep an eye on AOC as it’s looking certain that she does have Presidential aspirations.
