Brace yourself, the right honorable Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ready to grace us with her latest hot take. Moving illegal migrants to blue states is a “crime against humanity.”
Yes, you heard the bright star of the Squad correctly. AOC believes that sending illegal aliens to places outside the border areas is mean and terrible and horrible. How DARE these cruel, cruel governors send these poor migrants to the horrorscape of MARTHA’S VINEYARD. THE HUMANITY.
It’s appalling that far-right politicians seem to have decided that fall before an election is their regularly scheduled time to commit crimes against humanity on refugees.
Don’t normalize this. Lying to & trafficking people for TV and clicks isn’t politics as usual. It’s abuse.

These people are a BLESSING, AOC says. And how DARE you call them illegal! YOU might be illegal!
“What a lot of Republican politicians fail to understand is that not everyone shares their zero-sum, scarcity mindset,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Many of us understand that immigrants and refugees are a blessing. They have so much to offer our country, & much of our growth as a nation is because of them.”
In a couple of tweets Friday, Ocasio-Cortez recommended people not refer to immigrants who illegally entered the country as “illegal,” alleging that the way most people’s families entered the country in history would be considered illegal by current standards.”
“By today’s standards, most US families would have be deemed undocumented or trafficked at some point in their family history,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “For the most part, people didn’t need lawyers and years of processing to come to this US until immigration became a racialized issue.”
Yeah, these illegals were such a “blessing” to the people of Martha’s Vineyard that they got the National Guard to move their “blessings” right off the island to Joint Base Cape Cod. So, if moving these people is a “crime against humanity,” then wasn’t moving them off Martha’s Vineyard a “crime against humanity” too? Why wouldn’t the people of Martha’s Vineyard just accept these “blessings” from the hand of Governor DeSantis??
AOC is just dumb enough to believe that the loaded language that she is using is accurate. Someone who is being a little more honest is Mayor Muriel Bowser of Washington DC. Yet another busload of migrants has showed up on Kamala Harris’s doorstep this morning.

While Washington DC might qualify as more of a hellhole than Martha’s Vineyard, the game was completely given away by Mayor Bowser.

The Democrats were totally happy with the status quo and insisting that the border was secure, right until Governors Abbott and DeSantis left the issue right on their proverbial doorsteps. Now, they are trying to offload the illegals while letting AOC cry about “crimes against humanity.” They aren’t so happy now that their faces have been rubbed in it, and they want those illegals to stay in Texas. What makes Mayor Muriel Bowser think that Texas has the infrastructure to deal with illegal immigration? Washington DC is a FEDERAL CITY, the nation’s capital! Securing the border is a federal issue. Is Mayor Bowser saying that the federal government doesn’t have the infrastructure to deal with the illegal migrants? And if they don’t, then why don’t they CLOSE THE BORDER in order to get a handle on the situation?
AOC’s wails are hysterical and overwrought, because the media will always swallow her excuses whole. After all, the media loves their rich and famous friends that let THEM vacation on Martha’s Vineyard as well. But the NIMBYism and hilarious reaction of Democrats who claim that they are “sanctuary” areas being exposed for the hypocrites that they are isn’t being lost on the American public.

Coming from a socialist that’s mind-bendingly stupid. Socialism is all about ‘zero-sum’.
Scarcity is a bit weirder, since their dreams require a total lack of scarcity, but their philosophy is built on scarcity that can never go away.

If you defined them properly, maybe. But generally speaking you like to import islamists, socialists, and people who don’t understand the concept of personal responsibility enabling freedom. (Of course that latter one might be because that’s your whole schtick….)

Oh no, dear, that just won’t do. Trust me – I know at least one person ho lives on Cape Cod, and their attitudes are the same: “Oh, all of these dirty tourists! I know they’re what keeps our economy going since we produce nothing, but there has to be a better way than letting all these dirty not-from-here people into our exclusive little enclave!”

Oh no, don’t paint them as anything but what they are – they ARE those people. Or they’re working their way up to being those people. Almost all of our national media now is served up from very rich enclaves on the east coast – DC, NYC, Boston, and all their bedroom communities.
