Breathtakingly unfunny comedian Kathy Griffin bitch slapped our First Lady of the United States in a rant regarding children separated from their families at the border. From Newsweek.com:

Griffin, who last year was fired as CNN’s New Year’s Eve co-host after holding up a bloodied Trump mask, lashed out at the First Lady Sunday over a Donald Trump administration policy that has separated thousands of young children from their parents at the U.S. border. The comedian made light of a May tweet from President Trump in which he spelled his wife’s name incorrectly. “F*** you, Melanie. You know damn well your husband can end this immediately…you feckless complicit piece of s***.”

“Feckless?” Kathy Griffin must have Googled “feckless” after breathtakingly unfunny Samantha Bee used it in a tirade against Ivanka Trump last month.

And, just what had Mrs. Trump done or said that led Miss Griffin to denigrate her with a vulgarity. The “Eff” word is what I mean. Well again, according to Newsweek.com:

Griffin was responding to a statement that FLOTUS spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham gave to CNN’s Kate Bennett. Melania Trump addressed the controversial policy that Department of Homeland Security figures showed to be separating 45 kids from their parents each day. The First Lady, who was born in Slovenia before first coming to the U.S. in the mid-1990s and receiving a green card in 2001, weighed in:

“Mrs. Trump hates to see children separated from their families and hopes both sides of the aisle can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform. She believes we need to be a country that follows all laws, but also a country that governs with heart.”

Mrs. Trump came to the United States as a LEGAL immigrant. She brought no children with her. Her own or the children of other people. We love legal immigrants in this country.

By the way, just to make it clear, I must be evil all the way from my dyed hair to my Walmart house slippers, because I don’t give a fat rat’s backside about children being separated from their “families”. I know that I should at least pretend for, you know, society’s sake. Like virtue signal or be Christian or have a heart instead of a block of ice.

We do it every day. We separate people who have committed crimes or are under suspicion of having committed a crime from their children. While these people are incarcerated, their children are sometimes place in foster care or group homes. Every day. And, entering the country illegally is a crime. Full stop. That is why country’s have borders.

And let us for a moment talk about these children and their “families”. Not all of the children are traveling with their own families. And, not all of the children are very childreny, if you catch my drift. From NPR.com:

In 2015 and 2016, 100,000 children were found along the U.S.-Mexico border and 200,000 others were found without an adult in other countries, a number that represents a five-fold increase from 66,000 in 2010 and 2011. Aid organizations say that hundreds of thousands of minors are also likely traveling alone but are not counted in the report.

Our elected representatives could solve this, but they don’t for three reasons. One, they are cowards who don’t want to take the blow back from the sob sisters and social justice warriors for making a hard decision. Two, certain companies need the cheap labor and people don’t want to pay good wages. Three, and the most important reason, they would lose this as a silver hammer to beat on the head of anyone who disagrees.

So Kathy Griffin slags on FLOTUS and Samantha Bee insults Ivanka Trump. Does anyone but me think maybe this isn’t so much about the poor, illegal immigrant children, but that old green eyed monster called jealousy? Melania and Ivanka both look so very happy. Kathy Griffin and Samantha Bee just don’t seem like very happy people to me. Sorry, not sorry.
