Stop me if you’ve heard this one: a priest, a rabbi, and a pastor walk into an abortion clinic.
Whoops, a priest wasn’t in this story. But some ministers and a rabbi were at an abortion clinic. And this is not a joke, because sadly, it’s true.
Yes, clergy were on hand at the opening of an abortion facility in Bethesda, MD, run by the notorious late-term abortionist Dr. LeRoy Carhart. They went there to bless and sanctify the clinic.
A Baptist minister, the Rev. Carlton Veazey, offered this prayer on behalf of clinic personnel:
“God of grace and God of glory, in whom we move and live. Keep them safe and keep them strong. And may they always know that all that they do is for Thy glory.”
Are you as appalled as me? “All that they do is for Thy Glory? So butchering an unborn baby is for God’s glory? The same God of whom the Psalmist lovingly wrote, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)?
What kind of macabre theology is that?
But these clergy weren’t finished by just uttering their prayers. In addition, they went from room to room in the clinic, sprinkling water to “sanctify” the areas. They even sprinkled water in the parking lot because this was a “space of tremendous decision-making,” according to Rev. Cari Jackson of the United Church of Christ. Is that because women just might have pangs of conscience about having their unborn babies killed? No, it’s because of protestors they might encounter outside the clinic. Can’t have these women change their minds, you know.
And as for the not-so-good doctor, LeRoy Carhart, and his religious faith? Does he even profess beliefs? Oh, he claims he believes in God “very strongly.” It’s because he’s ‘helping women,’ or something. He says, “I think in itself, that’s religious.” However, Carhart no longer attends his Methodist church, since his pastor advised him to stop attending. It’s for his ‘safety,’ said the pastor.
But let’s take a look at this “Christian” doctor caught on videotape, shall we? Then tell me how reverently Carhart regards the sanctity of life when he compares a dead baby in the womb to meat in a crockpot.
Now not only did Carhart get a faux “blessing” from these pro-abortion persons of the cloth, he also gets to do a Happy Dance this week. You see, on the same day his clinic held this perverse dog-and-pony show, a bill which would’ve outlawed abortion after 20 weeks failed to pass the Senate, which certainly boosts his stock-in-trade as a late-term baby hack.
Shamefully, though, fourteen Catholic senators also voted against this bill, as an enraged priest pointed out. And if you think they were all Democrats, think again. Two of these Catholic senators — Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine — also openly voted against life, as well as the tenets of their church. “If they had voted as their faith (and their common humanity would dictate) this cruel and horrible practice would have been outlawed,” wrote Fr. Dwight Longenecker. He continued:
What kind of Catholic Church are we if their pastors and bishops do not stand up publicly and rebuke these fourteen politicians?
What kind of Catholic Church? Moreover, what kind of Christian church of any stripe thinks it’s appropriate to bless an abortion clinic?
These are truly challenging times for those of us who embrace a traditional faith, isn’t it?
a horror that people claiming to be “ministers” would do this ……… an utter horror
Oh, they were certainly NOT praying to glorify the true and living God of the Bible! They were glorifying His evil and rebellious creation, Satan.

And may they always know that all that they do is for Thy glory.
This man is NOT worshipping Jehovah, the God of Heaven and Earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Triune God. The only god being glorified in this place is Molech, the ancient god of child sacrifice. I weep for this man’s congregation – he is most certainly headed to hell.
I hope and pray for a dramatic judgment on these people, that the one true God’s glory might truly be made known.
“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist.”
The churches have been feminized. More women go to church than men, so pander to your base. The Catholics were brought down by the pedos.
I predict by 2030 Mary will be Co-God.
These people are most definitely NOT people of the cloth! The are agents of the devil, and there is a special place in hell for them.
The Senators should be excommunicated. Not enough excommunications have been carried out in the church, esp Paedophiles and pro abortionists. Anti Christ all of them.
