Ohio State University, fresh off of a major win against Michigan State last weekend, dealt with some very unwelcome terror on campus this morning.

Once the information sorted itself out and the media’s false anti-2A gun narrative fell apart, the facts began to emerge. Chiefly that the suspect involved used a car and a butcher knife in the attack that injured 11.
BREAKING: Ohio State police: Attacker purposely drove over curb into pedestrians, got out and stabbed people with butcher knife.

The situation could’ve been far worse if it wasn’t for the Ohio State University police officer who got to the scene quickly and killed the suspect

…with his department issued GUN.
So what do we know about this attacker?
The suspect in Monday’s attack at Ohio State University has been identified as Abdul Razak Ali Artan, according to NBC News.
Artan, who was shot and killed by police at the scene, was a legal permanent resident of the United States and of Somali descent. He lived in Pakistan with his family before coming to the U.S., according to the report.
Somali hmmm? Here on a visa hmmm? Legal permanent resident but lived in Pakistan before landing in the US? HMMMM
Haven’t there been problems before regarding those here on a visa or who are Somali born? Why yes, yes there have.
Stop me if you've heard this one before. A Somali man walks into a mall (MN), a deli (OH) and onto a campus (OH) with a knife…

A little harsh but accurate? Yes. In fact, Scott Johnson at Powerline blog has been tracking and reporting on events and trials regarding Somalis involved in wanting to join ISIS or engaged in planning terror attacks against the US. These events and trials chronicled at length took place here in the US. A good synopsis regarding the nine Somali’s (some who were employed by the Minneapolis St Paul airport!) can be found here. Its worth reading Johson’s article and researching the back story at Powerline. It highlights a problem we’ve seen play out many times across the US, including San Bernadino and several times in Ohio.

But don’t let key members of the media deal in facts. They don’t like facts or reality for that matter.
Sorry but "news" means not tweeting useless stuff. "Somali refugee" is meaningless at this point. When there is real info, please inform. https://t.co/XkOpSsZGsv
— Gersh Kuntzman (@GershKuntzman) November 28, 2016
“Meaningless” hmmm?? Kind of the same type of meaningless you wrote about concerning the oh so serious PTSD you got from shooting a pistol at a firing range that one time?
.@GershKuntzman Maybe he used a knife & and a car because he read how handling a gun gave you ptsd.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 28, 2016
Then again if good ole Gersh deems today’s attack meaningless what else is?
Yeah, I mean, what possible conclusions could we draw from the terrorist being a Somali refugee? Crazy talk! #Science @GershKuntzman
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) November 28, 2016
Not a thing!! That’s crazy talk! Just because the guy is Somali born and spent quite a bit of his formative years in Pakistan, there’s absolutely NOTHING TO SEE HERE! Let’s move narrative back to taking away our guns shall we?
Holy shit @Yahoo pic.twitter.com/7ebfl9iN40
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 28, 2016
Somehow Artan going on a rampage with a butcher knife and a car is the NRA’s fault. Who knew? Of course, that didn’t stop other useful idiots from chiming in.
.@LauraMiers @Yahoo Islamophobia is the reason he went on a stabbing rampage? You go with that.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 28, 2016
In other words, lets ignore Artan’s motives. Lets ignore the fact that far too many Somali’s have been either involved in plotting or executing some type of terror attack here in the United States. Oh and we must not forget the significant number of Somalis who have tried to join up with ISIS.
While the investigation continues, there is something else worth noting. The reality is, ISIS has encouraged and is encouraging these types of attacks all around the world. Knives, machetes, cars, and lorries have now been used twice in Ohio and in France, hatchets in Quebec, IED in the Boston and New York bombings, and far too many more in just the last 3 years. So no, we aren’t jumping to conclusions when the connecting dots are far too obvious to those steeped in reality.
I LOVE @redsteeze’s reply to Kuntzman. (And, yes, it’s all I can do to type a ‘K’ at the beginning of that “man”‘s name.)
The best response to all of this is that he was stopped by a good guy with a gun. If one of the students had an appropriate weapon, even fewer would likely have been stabbed. Thank goodness this was an exception to the old saw “When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.”
Redsteeze is awesome for sure!
And yes, if it weren’t for Officer Horujko being nearby, its likely more would’ve been injured. But the reality of a good guy with a gun stopping the attack sure hasn’t stopped the anti-gun idiots from quadrupling down for more gun control!!
