In an interview for The Spectator.com with Emily Smith, Camille Paglia blows up any idea that Hillary Clinton is good for feminism, women in general or America. It is so refreshing to read the truth about Hillary spoken by a woman who is her peer. Both women were born in 1947. Paglia does not recite the feminist company line.

Remember when Madeline Albright said this:

My girlfriends and I are taking a Party Bus to get to that special place in Hell (drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served) and Camille Paglia will be a welcome addition. My friends are just the kind of Amazon women that Camille Paglia admires. As she says in the article:

‘My philosophy of feminism,’ the New York-born 69-year-old explains, ‘I call street-smart Amazon feminism. I’m from an immigrant family. The way I was brought up was: the world is a dangerous place; you must learn to defend yourself. You can’t be a fool. You have to stay alert.’

Hillary Clinton and Madeline Albright don’t think that way. Sisters must help each other. Except that Hillary always seems to help herself.

Camille Paglia says Hillary plays the “gender card”. Ya think?

Hillary hasn’t suffered — Paglia continues — because she is a woman. She has shamelessly exploited the fact: ‘It’s an outrage how she’s played the gender card. She is a woman without accomplishment. “I sponsored or co-sponsored 400 bills.” Oh really? These were bills to rename bridges and so forth. And the things she has accomplished have been like the destabilisation of North Africa, causing refugees to flood into Italy… The woman is a disaster!’

For me, every time Hillary says that she has been to 112 countries as Secretary of State, I want to yell, “So what?”

Aw, Hillary Clinton got her passport stamped in 112 countries for you and me. Just as Camille Paglia says with the 400 bills, there is no accomplishment there. Hillary has always confused movement with accomplishment. The world is not a faculty lounge. Chin music is not an accomplishment.

Acquiring power because of who your husband is or because he cheated on you is also not an accomplishment. Selling your country off piece by piece is not an accomplishment.

Camille Paglia asserts that which many of us already know:

‘If Hillary wins, nothing will change. She knows the bureaucracy, all the offices of government and that’s what she likes to do, sit behind the scenes and manipulate the levers of power.’

Well, except that Hillary will continue to sell off our country piece by piece. Wanna stay in the Lincoln Bedroom? How’s about some Uranium? Want five minutes with Bill Clinton? It’s all available for a sizable chunk of change for the Clinton’s.

Camille Paglia is spot on. Hillary Clinton is a disaster and a woman without accomplishment. Thank you, Miss Paglia.
