Even The Washington Post has admitted that “there is no evidence that the events themselves push a political message.” And yet “parents, students and teachers” have reportedly taken issue with the tour because it enjoys sponsorship from conservative and religious organizations, leading to the cancellation of several History Rocks! events.

Wfjag says: The video about the 1970s is wrong on one point. There were Helicopter Parents. We gave their kids Wedges – till either they learned to fight back or moved. I remember one who learned and gave a friend a bloody nose. His parents got called in to meet with the Principal and denied that their children could be violent. That’s when he looked at my friend and shouted “Next time I’ll whip your butt and give you a black eye.” His parents were scandalized – and after that he was one of us.
