Jennifer Seibel, wife of California’s Governor Gavin Newsom, is gracious enough to educate us on Trump and the Patriarchy. She is a rare combination of self-absorbed California word-salad woman and 80’s “everyone gets a trophy” kid. She believes the press kit that she probably wrote for herself. We are fortunate that Newsom is running for President in 2028. We will have Miss Jennifer to plunge us to the depths of Affluent White Female Liberal Hell for the next six to ten years. Oh, goody!

In just over two months, Jennifer Seibel Newsom will be 52 years of age and has her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University. She traveled to Africa, Latin America, and Europe on assignments with Conservation International, a global environmental coalition.

After getting her Master’s degree, she moved to Hollywood to pursue acting. That would be where she bumped into Harvey Weinstein. Or something similar. From CBS:

An attorney for Harvey Weinstein at his Los Angeles rape and sexual assault trial told jurors Thursday that prosecutors’ case relies entirely on asking them to trust women whose testimony showed they were untrustworthy.

“‘Take my word for it’ — five words that sum up the entirety of the prosecution’s case,” Jackson told jurors in his closing argument.

The 70-year-old former movie magnate is charged with raping and sexually assaulting two women and committing sexual battery against two others.

Jackson argued that two of the women were entirely lying about their encounters, while the other two took part in “transactional sex” for the sake of career advancement that was “100% consensual.” But after the #MeToo explosion around Weinstein with stories in the New York Times and the New Yorker — which Jackson called a “dogpile” on his client — the women became regretful.

“Regret is not rape,” Jackson told jurors several times.

In his closings, Weinstein’s attorney urged jurors to look past the emotion of the testimony the four women gave, and focus on the factual evidence.

“‘Believe us because we’re mad, believe us because we cried,'” Jackson said jurors were being asked to do. “Well, fury does not make fact. And tears do not make truth.”

He was especially adamant about the tearful and dramatic testimony of Jennifer Siebel Newsom, a documentary filmmaker and the wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who said Weinstein raped her in a Beverly Hills hotel room in 2005.

She had transactional sex with Weinstein, “dated” George Clooney and married Gavin Newsom. Excuse me, I need Pepto Bismol. Ick.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom, filmmaker and wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom, is drawing sharp reactions after delivering a sweeping and highly charged take on the removal of former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

In a lengthy video she released via Instagram on Friday, April 3, Newsom framed Bondi’s exit as part of what she called a broader “war on women,” a claim that critics say stretches far beyond the facts.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom began by acknowledging she is “not a fan” of Bondi, but quickly pivoted to a much larger claim.

“Trust me, I’m not a fan of Pam Bondi nor Kristi Noem. But I need to call out that it’s no surprise to me that the first two prominent people pushed out of this administration were women,” she said.

From there, her argument expanded into a broader critique of conservative women in politics.

“The conservative women that Trump handpicks, align themselves with an agenda that controls women, restricting our rights, limiting our autonomy,” she said, before describing a system that she claimed forced women into “a straitjacket of femininity in service of men.”

Women are “brought in and packaged Mar-a-Lago style” but don’t get job security. Working for the President is at-will employment. It is not indentured servitude. Or worse. Of course, Trump hand picks these women and men. Picking a cabinet is not something that should be delegated.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, is drawing attention online for resurfaced remarks in which she said she gives her boys dolls to play with and even changed male characters in books to females.

“I’ve given our boys dolls, even if they tear the head off,” Newsom said in an undated interview that resurfaced on X. “I’ve given them dolls to learn that care and caregiving is not just an activity that’s reserved for women but that it’s also an activity that is a responsibility of men.”

She also said she changes male characters to female when reading books to her sons.

“What I have done with both my daughters and my sons is if I’m reading a book and the protagonist is a male, I just change the he to a she,” Newsom said. “And it just normalizes for my sons, in particular, it’s not even… I don’t even just do it for my girls, I do it for my sons because I want them to see that women can be the center of a story, that women matter, that women are interesting.”

The women I have known have been very interesting. No matter what they did with their lives. So sad for Jennifer Seibel Newsom. This next election cycle is going to be entertaining.
