Bartender and congresscritter, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is going after champion swimmer and mom, Riley Gaines, about having a real job. Just so you know, AOC is a Boston University graduate cum bartender who was selected by the Justice Democrats to run for her Congressional seat, she won and has since distinguished herself as a TikTok video maker with zero legislative victories under her belt. Riley Gaines is a collegiate swimmer who was thrust into the public consciousness when she competed against and lost to male swimmer cosplaying a female, Lia Thomas. As a thoughtful and articulate speaker, Gaines now works with Turning Point, USA and Outkick. She has also recently given birth to a daughter. Huzzah! Riley Gaines.

Riley Gaines-Barker started this contretemps by posting on social media that AOC types were destroying our magnificent country from within. The Huffington Post saw it like this “AOC Blows Right-Winger Riley Gaines Out Of The Water With 2 Hilarious Clap Backs”.

You could say that whenever Riley Gaines tried to make waves, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez(D-N.Y.) hit her back with a cannonball dive.

Over the weekend, Gaines, a former U.S. NCAA swimmer turned MAGA influencer, sparked an online spat with the New York lawmaker and was left treading water — twice.

The kerfuffle began when Gaines shared a photo of Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and New York City Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani on X, and suggested in her caption that America was being “destroyed from within” by the trio.

Ocasio-Cortez blew her out of the water with the following response, “Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster you wouldn’t have come in fifth.”

Are you effing kidding me? How is that a clapback? The Left is delulu. More:

The remark refers to a 200-yard swimming freestyle race in 2022, in which Gaines tied for fifth place with Lia Thomas, a trans athlete. Ever since tying with Thomas, Gaines has very loudly rallied against trans women’s participation in sports, making her a right-wing darling.

Seemingly not backing down after Ocasio-Cortez’s jab about her coming in fifth place, Gaines took the opportunity on Fox News Monday to up the ante.

“Here’s what I will say — I want to honestly challenge AOC to a debate,” Gaines said. “She can defend socialism; I will defend capitalism. She can defend removing God; I will defend embracing a biblical worldview. She can defend child sacrifice; I will defend the sanctity of life.”

Don’t bother debating Leftists. We don’t speak the same language.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one in a vocal line of angry, bitter women. Our Lisa just told you how perpetually petulant Amanda Marcotte wished Riley Gaines would shut up complaining about Lia Thomas after Thomas got the Voice of Inspiration Award. I don’t remember signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) regarding the truth and I am sure Gaines didn’t.

Riley Gaines could NEVER debate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Riley knows that Lia is a man and AOC thinks Lia “transitioned” to a woman. Take biology, people.

Brianna Lyman describes this trans-athlete noise as possibly a plot by the patriarchy to get smart and funny women back under control. AOC is just a useful idiot.

I know a lot of swimmers. They work their backsides off to be successful. If I were Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, I would not be dissing anyone else’s accomplishments when her biggest accomplishments were TikTok videos and shaming Amazon from opening a facility in my district.

And, witch AOC doesn’t think being a mother is a full-time job. F’reals? Try it, Occasional Cortex. Done well, it’s full-time plus overtime. It’s boring and fulfilling. It requires thinking like a Chess Grandmaster and a two-year old with a can of shaving creme. Best time I ever had was birth through 17 with my son. It would have been longer, but I didn’t want to embarrass him by standing outside of his military college and crying for him with my arms through the gates. I joke. I would never have done that, but I have seen it.

Riley Gaines is embarking on the most fulfilling experience a woman can have. AOC has no clue. Worse, she has no clue that she has no clue. That’s so sad. Riley Gaines should not debate AOC. It would be a waste of Gaines’ time. Gaines already has the best job in the world.
