In a Congressional floor speech yesterday, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez called the martyred Charlie Kirk’s views ignorant and uneducated when the Congress was considering a resolution to honor Mr. Kirk. Naturally, she rattled off a few of these views, read with her usual arrogant confidence. Four and a half years ago, I wrote a post about AOC in which I quoted Founding Father James Madison concerning members who might substitute thought for noise and meanness. Most of us grow as we age, Miss Ocasio Cortez is unbothered by growth. Noise and meanness still represent her at best.

First time I saw this speech, I was angry at her meanness. Since then, my anger has only metastasized. When you get accolades for nothing you never grow. That is Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. Resting on her non-existent laurels and slamming a hard-working genius. And, that’s just the starters.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) released the following statement after opposing a resolution “honoring the life and legacy” of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk:“House Republicans today brought to the floor a resolution ‘honoring the life and legacy’ of Charlie Kirk. I voted NO.
“Condemning the depravity of Kirk’s brutal murder is a straightforward matter – one that is especially important to help stabilize an increasingly unsafe and volatile political environment where everyday people feel at risk. We can disagree with Charlie and come together as a country to denounce the horror of killing. That is a bedrock American value.
“It then only underscores the majority’s recklessness and intent to divide by choosing to introduce this resolution on a purely partisan basis, instead of uniting Congress in this tragedy with one of the many bipartisan options to condemn political violence and Kirk’s murder, as we did with the late Melissa Hortman. Instead, the majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow, and the legacy of that bigotry today.
“We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a ‘mistake,’ who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that ‘some amazing patriot out there’ should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling ‘not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.’ His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from ‘working tirelessly to promote unity’ as asserted by the majority in this resolution.
“It is equally important that Congress unites to reject the government’s attempt to weaponize this moment into an all-out assault on free speech across the country. All in the name of Charlie Kirk, the Trump Administration, and the FCC are now cynically threatening to shut down ABC and any outlets who give airtime to his political critics. This is a disgusting attack on the American people and the very First Amendment rights that define us as a country. It is also ABC’s responsibility to refuse to participate in this corruption and escalation of censorship.
“We continue to pray for Mr. Kirk’s family and loved ones in the wake of this terrible act. I’m thinking especially of his children and his wife, whose grief cannot be measured.”
Translation: Murder is bad, but Kirk brought this only on himself with his vile views. What an unpleasant female. What lies she spreads. It’s worse when you hear her say them out loud:

Charlie Kirk did not have a college degree that’s a fact. That does not make him ignorant or uneducated. He was an autodidact. It is also a slam against Americans who choose not to waste their money on an indoctrination camp.
AOC is “credentialed” and is both educated and ignorant.
She is also historically wrong about the Civil Rights Act. It may have been wrong written or a mistake in how it passed. I don’t know. But, it did not grant Black Americans the right to vote. The 15th Amendment was passed in 1870. Oops, stupid cow.

Mrs. Hortman’s murder was horrendous and the murderer was a sick f*ck. She was not murdered in public with video footage that will live forever. She also did not have a worldwide platform.
Every political murder is a national tragedy. It does the nation no benefit to denigrate the murdered. The ignorant Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is a national embarrassment. SHE brings the nation great pain.

Democrats are so busy smearing people that they have not got time to figure out why anyone should vote for them. Instead, it seems their plan is to scare off their political opponents with one outrageous lie after another. Unfortunately for them, fewer and fewer people are willing to believe anything they say.
SkillyBoo says: It is glaringly obvious that she, along with the rest of her entourage, AKA Squad, have nothing to offer other than hatred. If she, and her ilk, had even an iota of a brain cell they could have confronted Charlie at any of his multitude of college and university debates. It would have made for great ratings for all the networks, should any of them have chosen to carry it live and uncensored. However, we know that none of them could never debate him and construct a sensical counter argument against him because have yet to say anything sensical, especially her, since she put down her bar apron.
They don’t even dare to get on Bill Maher’s show.
(I do hope that he has quietly beefed up his own security – to the Left, there is nobody more hated than a “traitor to the cause” – i.e., not blindly endorsing EVERYTHING they say. If there was any “political” motive to the Hortman murder, that was her mortal sin.)

Forbes says: I’ve long been a fan of the idea, “it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt,” but our political class obtains the opposing opinion. Unfortunately, our day of internet ubiquity means far too many people prefer revealing themselves as fools, than to remain silent and in doubt.

I have a couple of honors degrees, and nobody who’s hired me has ever asked to see them. Most of my jobs have been due to things I learned on my own or via on-the-job experience. The classes I sat through were just to get the diploma and mostly told me things I already knew by that point from working my way through school. The electives were chosen just for fun, so I could read books that I would have read anyway. Definitely not something AOC can say.

She is an educated air head. When Hannity asked Senator Kennedy what we should do about AOC and her future plans in politics, the senator said, just let her talk! That means give her enough rope and she’ll hang herself.
