As Washington D.C. braces for frigid temperatures, Donald Trump announced that his Inauguration Ceremony will be moved inside.
I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather. We will open Capital One Arena on Monday for LIVE viewing of this Historic event, and to host the Presidential Parade. I will join the crowd at Capital One, after my Swearing In.” -Donald Trump
This year, the temperature on Inauguration Day at noon — when the president-elect swears in — is expected to be in the low 20s, which is around 20 degrees below normal, with winds of 10 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30. So, yes. Not temperatures for the faint-of heart.
The move, however, leaves room to speculate. But the Dems are Demarcating just the same:
Why do you think this is a win? Do you think this is going to change anyone's mind about Trump? He's had several attempts on his life, and he has to think of the safety of everyone there? If anyone got hurt, you'd be on here bashing him for not taking it inside where it's safer.

Or could it be this?
Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has said that thousands of officers will be helping provide security for the event, however, when the outlet reached out to multiple local stations in the DC area, over than a half dozen of them said they would not be helping.”–The Daily Caller
Several reasons for not providing additional security were cited. For Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland, it was a “dispute over a memo of understanding”. Queen Anne’s County, also in Maryland, cited “technical difficulties”.
It’s far safer anyway.
Much more secure.I’m pretty sure there won’t be any drones flying inside the Capitol, for example.
You can have the pomp and circumstance.
Just give me my President back, please.

Agreed. But, still, the liberals have other ideas as to why Trump’s taking things inside:
Wimps. Of course, the cold can shrink the size of things, so there is that. #Crowdsize https://t.co/F5BIyhd4Tt

And, then there’s this:
In ’61, John F. Kennedy was Inaugurated on the Capitol steps, in windchills of 7 degrees. It was almost as cold for Obama in ’09,” he wrote on X. “In fairness, Trump IS more than 3 decades older than JFK & Obama were. Or did he just fear small crowds?”-David Axelrod
Yes, David. JFK was Inaugurated before elaborate security measures needed to be put into place. Our guess is that JFK might have a thing or two to say about security detail if he could. A small crowd is nothing Trump needs to worry about, I assure you. Take it from a person who stood atop The Empire State Building to see crowds of red baseball caps wrapped around city blocks to get into Madison Square Garden one Sunday afternoon. The incoming President has NO problem drawing a crowd. So, sit down, Mr. Axelrod.
Let’s talk about Biden’s “crowd” on his Inauguration Day. Oh, that’s right. It was small because of COVID. Let’s also talk about that popular vote.
There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. https://t.co/t4EIhA31n0 pic.twitter.com/vndLPf4Bot

Hey, Tim? What time is your Inauguration, again? There is a “such thing” as a bad Presidential/Vice Presidential ticket, Tim. There is a “such thing” as a terrible choice for a VP, too.
And, while we are on the subject, let’s talk about the real “wimps” here.
Organizers of the People’s March, which is being put together by a diverse coalition of groups including the Women’s March, expect roughly 50,000 attendees Saturday — a stark contrast to the 500,000 that marched on Washington in 2017.”-Caroline Vail, The Hill
“The Resistance” is staying the hell home this time around. They have lost the will to carry on, so it seems. Wouldn’t have anything to do with the record-low forecasted temperatures or the wind chill, now would it? There’s no such thing as bad weather, right? Only bad outfits. I will say, the liberals have the bad outfit game on lock.
“But”, they will say, “Obama stood out in the 28-degree cold on HIS Inauguration Day”. And, let’s face it, Obama would. He wouldn’t want to diminish his adoring crowd one bit. And, yes, he probably did not give a flying cow turd about the peasants freezing their fingers off to watch him take the highest office in the land.
So, let them all talk about how Trump is afraid of the cold and afraid his crowd is not going to be YUGE (it will be). They are still upset that Cackling Kamala is not the one being Inaugurated on Monday. They honestly did not think there was a snowball’s chance in hell that Trump would win a second term.
I do declare hell hath frozen over. Borrow some mittens from Vermont Bernie and bundle up, buttercups!

It couldn’t possibly be a reasonable belief that the FBI, the police from DC and surrounding counties, and the Secret Service are among the groups who would cheer loudest if Trump were assainated.

The democrats have twice tried to execute President Trump and failed. The ,alleged, security details have done an abysmal job at protecting President Trump repeatedly. When these “failures” are questioned the only things we get are excuses, asinine excuses. It is not unreasonable to suspect that the security apparatus is not focused on protecting President Trump. Were their any assassination attempts against joey bidet ? No, there were not. Valid conclusions can be drawn. The democrats, the left in general have shown severe mental instability and have displayed violent tendencies repeatedly. All of which should not be ignored. An indoor inauguration presents a less difficult venue to secure.
Michael Steele is hoping massa will let him lick his hand and praise him for being one of the good ones.
