What Is Joe Biden’s Next Move?

Now that the Republican National Convention has wrapped up, with the longest acceptance speech in RNC history, we must glance in Joe Biden’s direction. Are we all wondering the same thing? How is the Democratic Party going to answer?

And will Joe Biden even be the candidate for the Democrats? By the time I finish this blog post, the Democrats may have already pushed Joe Biden out. That’s how fast things seem to be moving for them.

Some of the headlines this morning read:

The New York Times: People close to Biden say he appears to accept that he may have to leave the race.

Fox News: Democrats call for Biden to step aside as nominee after debate disaster, COVID diagnosis.

CNN: Pelosi privately told Biden polls show he cannot win and will take down the House.

NBC News: Biden’s family starts discussing his possible exit plan from the 2024 race.

Washington Post: Obama tells allies Biden’s path to winning reelection has dramatically diminished.

Those last two headlines are pretty damning.

And then you have stories from The Hill telling us Biden’s campaign says he is staying in the race.

The Biden campaign reiterated in a new memo following the Republican National Convention that the president will be the Democratic nominee, even as the party remains embroiled in disagreement about the path forward. The memo also targeted Project 2025, which Donald Trump has disavowed.

“Joe Biden has made it more than clear: he’s in this race and he’s in it to win it. Moreover, he’s the presumptive nominee, there is no plan for an alternative nominee,” wrote Dan Kanninen, Biden campaign battleground states director in the memo, obtained by The Hill.

Of course, we also know that Joe Biden has COVID-19 again. And who even gets COVID anymore? Whoever runs Joe’s X account thinks they are clever with this little diddy.

Only to reveal that it is just them begging for money.

The man is 81 years old, in mental decline, and now has Covid. Remember when the Democrats thought COVID was so serious? The stunt didn’t go over well with anyone. The White House reports that the President only has mild symptoms. So that’s good.

Heavy hitters and Democrat DC royalty no longer hide their desire for Biden to drop out.

Biden has come under intense pressure from party leaders, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.), who have told the president directly that a majority of Democratic senators and large number of House members don’t think he can beat former President Trump.

Alums of former President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 winning presidential campaigns are prepared to help Harris get her own presidential campaign operation up and running if Biden agrees to step aside, according to a source familiar with the transition plan. – The Hill

They’ve shown him the dwindling poll numbers, some Democrats have told them they don’t think he can beat Trump, the money is all but dried up, and the swing voters are outta there.

At this point, one has to ask if Biden is simply delusional, dumb, or defiant over the glaring and obvious decision that needs to be made.

Let’s be honest: We want Joe Biden to stay in the race. Trump can beat any Democratic candidate, but Joe is the easiest. While Donald Trump looked fine last night, let’s just continue to make this easy for him as he continues to recover from an assassination attempt.

The Democratic National Convention kicks off in one month. I don’t typically watch their convention because I find it irrelevant, but I may watch just for the chaos factor.

Something’s gotta give soon. The old man has to drop out, right? He can’t be that stupid to think he can stay in and win this thing? But again, I hope he does stay in.

Another question is what Victory Girl Deanna brought up earlier this month: What about the media and the Biden family? Will there be an all-out war if Joe decides to stay in the race? It will be interesting. Get your popcorn ready, folks.

No one knows. Not even Joe knows. He has not yet asked Jill and Hunter.

  • This is, what? Week 18 or 19 of “Joe’s going to drop out this weekend?”

  • Hate_me says:

Any real power in the Democratic Party (Obama, Pelosi, Newsom, Schumer) just needs to invoke the name of Hillary as a potential candidate….

Brandon’s next move will be made for him.

But Joe is the presumptive nominee and they are trying to pressure him to leave. Isn’t that a threat to Our Sacred Democracy?™ After all, he was the most popular President since The Lightworker came down from Heaven to lead us to a better life. Can 81 million people be ignored and deprived of Joe’s leadership?
