Mark Cuban: Would Vote For “Last Rites” Biden Over Trump

By their very nature, billionaires are difficult to like. Some of them, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and certain Walton family members, are low-hanging fruit for derision. This morning, we speak of Mark Cuban. He is an investor, minority owner of the Dallas Mavericks and, for those of you who still watch broadcast television, Shark Tank. Mr. Cuban was at the White House for a roundtable on pharmaceuticals costs. Leaving the White House, Cuban told Bloomberg News that he would vote for Joe Biden even if Biden was being given his “last rites”. Good, so he is aware that Joe is only a figurehead and not in charge of anything.

If you have been watching the DEI fights between Bill Ackman, Elon Musk, and Mark Cuban, you have seen was a brain-dead ideologue Cuban is. From Moneywise:

This isn’t the first instance of Musk and Cuban engaging in a heated exchange. In January, the two billionaires drew significant attention on social media for their sharply contrasting views on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workforce.

The debate was ignited by a long tweet from billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, which lambasted Harvard’s DEI policies.

Musk, echoing Ackman’s sentiments, shared the essay and added, “DEI is just another word for racism. Shame on anyone who uses it.”

Cuban, who had recently sold a majority interest in the Dallas Mavericks but retained operational control of the team, countered Musk’s viewpoint with a series of tweets emphasizing the advantages of DEI programs.

“Good businesses look where others don’t, to find the employees that will put your business in the best possible position to succeed,” Cuban asserted. “By extending our hiring search to include them, we can find people that are more qualified. The loss of DEI-Phobic companies is my gain.”

Musk, however, remained skeptical, mockingly asking Cuban, “Cool, so when should we expect to see a short white/Asian women on the Mavs?”

Point, Musk. Cuban doesn’t do DEI when it comes to winning. But he does love the Deep State and Figurehead Biden. From Bloomberg News:

Cuban told Bloomberg News he cast a ballot for Nikki Haley in the Texas GOP primary but would back Biden over the former president.

Cuban also downplayed concerns about Biden’s age.

“If they were having his last wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden,” Cuban said. He called his vote for Haley in Texas, one of 15 GOP states voting on Super Tuesday, a “protest vote against Trump.”

What a twatwaffle:

And then, I watched the video of Mark Cuban with Morgan Brennan of CNBC. One of the things that bothers me about Obamacare and the increasing costs to the consumer are the ever increasing layers of bureaucracy. Remember when the Republicans kept telling us they had a healthcare plan to repeal and replace Obamacare and then just needed the levers of power. We gave them the Presidency, the House and the Senate in 2017. The Republicans had NO PLAN.

Mark Cuban has the beginning of a plan. Here is his interview:

I really urge you to watch the video, but if you can’t, here are some of the highpoints from Bloomberg News:

Mark Cuban urged President Joe Biden to go further to rein in prescription drug costs, a key element of his reelection pitch, as he backed the incumbent ahead of a likely November rematch against Donald Trump.

The billionaire entrepreneur and minority owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks visited the White House on Monday in his role as co-founder of the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co. for a roundtable on drug prices.

The company sells prescription drugs at prices based on the acquisition cost plus transparent mark-ups and fees, a model in contrast to the complex formulas and rebates for drug prices that sometimes lead to high costs.

Cuban’s company is taking aim at a byzantine supply chain that has long drawn criticism from pharmacies, employers, patients and policymakers. PBMs, as they are known, say they reduce costs by negotiating discounts and rebates on the prices drugmakers set, but critics accuse them of failing to pass on those savings. The industry is dominated by three companies that process about 80% of prescription claims, units of CVS Health Corp., Cigna Group, and UnitedHealth Group Inc.

Nice grift those guys have. The Cartels don’t have as good of a grift. More:

The arrangements impacting who pays what for medicines have come under scrutiny, with Congress weighing transparency rules and other reforms.

And this is why we hate them all. The Republicans and Democrats have known about this for decades. They did nothing when they crammed through Obamacare and have done nothing since. A pox on all their houses.

Even though Mark Cuban loves DEI and the near-corpse, a good idea is a good idea.

Then why does DEI ignore qualified White candidates in favor of Black ones?

Mark Cuban is a dumbass. He has no short guatemalans on the Mavericks.

      • Cameron says:

Someone going by the name Wei Wu on Twitter (WuWei113) has been trolling him mercilessly about putting her on the Mavericks.

  • Note: The Republican plan in 2017 did NOT include putting a pillow over John McCain’s face. That was the failure.
