Democrats started bellyaching last year, ramping up the IT’S ALL ABOUT MY FEELZ naval-lint-picking as soon as Trump was elected and started layering on how icky it is to see normies with flags and plans for the 250th birthday party. Such hatred of America they can’t wait to vandalize it or turn it into some commie struggle session.

Professional (and I use that term loosely) depreciators such as Chunkie DeVega from the rag Salon is in his usual pissy mood.

To see Trump elected again ­constituted a moral injury for those who believed the American people were fundamentally good and decent.

Who was that, Chunkie? You’ve never considered any American standing to the right of Stalin as “fundamentally good”. Moral Americans voted to try and get America back to being America — not dumping ground for the world’s criminals and psychos who find it their mission to steal from American taxpayers hand over fist with kickbacks to the leftwing parasites embedded in the bureaucracy.

I mean, what the heck is moral about Tampon Tim pardoning an illegal alien convicted of raping a ten-year-old girl? Pardoned least his conviction get him deported.

That drives DeVega and ilk to distraction. So the video chronicaller from Germany, Freddy, has had to shutdown his X account because the portside can’t let him exist any longer and harassed him off.

Combine socialism and feudalism and you get California where even HOA’s have decided no one can fly an American flag because being patriotic makes them feel bad.

Married couple Amy and Chris Cooke, as well as their neighbor Terri Collins, were threatened with $100 fines last week if they did not remove Old Glory from outside their houses in San Marcos, San Diego County.

They claimed the HOA has been on a rampage since President Trump was reelected in 2024, harassing them for flying the banner on the quiet street where houses average just under $1 million. (snip)

In an astonishing letter from before the 2024 election, the HOA board argued the flag represented a “political or affiliative view” which will “degrade the common area.”

This is the same nonsense as what has happened in the UK over English flags.

If you can’t fly your national flag, your nation is fast to not being your nation in anything but some legacy label. Independence Day as an American holiday, and all the trappings of national party filled with fun, fireworks, and patriotism, will fade away. Chunkie and his ilk will win.

So, no. I’m not giving up my July 4th party. I chose John Phillip Sousa over some divisive “land acknowledgement”.
