Harry Dunn, Capitol Police “Hero”, Running For Congress

Oh my biscuits and gravy. These people, you know the ones, are either desperate or emboldened. Can they be both? In case you haven’t heard, Harry Dunn, the “hero” Capitol Hill Police Officer of the January 6, 2020 INSURRECTION has resigned his position and is running for Congress to protect “Muh Democracy”. Harry is running as a Democrat (DUH) in Maryland’s 3rd District to replace Joseph Sarbanes, a Democrat (DUH) who is retiring after 17 years.

The coverage of Harry Dunn’s run is so sweet it will give you diabetes just reading it:

The Washington Post:

A former U.S. Capitol Police officer who bloodied his fists in hand-to-hand combat and endured pepper spray and racist vitriol defending the American seat of government against insurrectionists on Jan. 6, 2021, is now seeking to return to the building as an elected representative.

And from Forbes (???)

Former Capitol Police Office Harry Dunn—who fought off violent riots in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021—announced his bid for Congress just one day shy of the third anniversary of the attack.

Harry Dunn leaps tall buildings in a single bound. Dayam. Bloodied fists in hand to hand combat fighting off the violent insurrectionists. What a man! A man running for Congress with a book to sell. The book “Standing My Ground” was published October 24, 2023. The book description, includes a blurb from Eric (Fang Fang) Shartwell:

The stirring memoir of Harry Dunn, a Capitol Police Officer on duty January 6th, who has become one of the most prominent and essential voices regarding the truth of that day, and “a must-read for those care about our nation’s future” (Congressman Eric Swalwell).

Walking the halls of democracy as a Capitol Police officer, Harry Dunn was a man slowly experiencing an awakening. It sparked after the election of our first Black president. It grew as his belief in the bravery and honor of law enforcement was shaken by Ferguson and countless other cases of police brutality towards the Black community. It continued to burn brighter as he watched members of Congress, many of whom he had befriended, lose their way to partisanship, as political extremism intensified. And it exploded into a blaze when he fought side by side with his fellow officers on January 6th, when democracy and their lives were threatened.

I wrote a post in July of 2021 covering Tucker Carlson‘s takedown of Harry Dunn. In it, I included this tweet(X):

Seeing how much more we know about what was not an insurrection or riots, but a fedsurrection, calling Dunn an angry, left-wing political activist is very mild.

Remember the January 6th hearings in July of 2021? Western Journal typed it up for us:

On Tuesday morning, a Capitol Police officer made a blatantly untrue claim during the first day of hearings before the House select committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion.

“I’d like to take a moment of my time,” officer Harry Dunn intoned as he began his testimony to the committee, “to ask for a moment of silence for my fallen colleague Officer Brian Sicknick, who died from injuries he sustained in the line of duty defending the Capitol of our beloved democracy.”

Sicknick died of natural causes related to two strokes on Jan. 7, The Washington Post reported in April, citing the D.C. chief medical examiner. His autopsy showed no evidence of internal or external injuries sustained in the line of duty, contrary to what Dunn said.

Worse than all the lies that Harry Dunn told about the actions of others on January 6, apparently his actions/inactions were worse:

Harry Dunn is clearing puffing his heroics to compensate for mentally falling apart on January 6. Just watching his release the magazine from his M4 and harass Santa Lady in the Capitol Rotunda on January 6, should be enough to convince anyone he is not fit for additional duties.

Run for Congress? Harry Dunn shouldn’t be allowed to run a Taco Bell.

Holy moley! Every word after that is a load of bullcarp! Either the man is a gifted liar or delusional. (Yeah, he could be both.) Such a huge ego – maybe if we give him just a little more air, his head will explode.

And that final video? Wow. That says it all, doesn’t it?
I think I’m definitely going with “Both” above.
