Swedish high school dropout and legal adult Greta Thunberg added “rabid anti-Semite” to her list of credentials today.
Once upon a time, Greta was just an obsessively anxious teenager whose climate concerns were fanned into an entire media platform by her parents, who had no issues pushing their autistic daughter with comorbid anxiety problems as some kind of climate change “expert.” As a result, Greta Thunberg has never had a normal or stable life, especially by autism spectrum disorder standards. Getting arrested frequently does not exactly lend itself to a feeling of stability and creating safe routines – but it does make for good press.
I had a modicum of sympathy for Greta, as the mother of two kids on the autism spectrum, when she was a teenager being used by parents, media, and protest groups as their mascot. But now, Greta is 20 years old, and cannot use her autism to hide behind the extremely stupid and anti-Semitic shit that she wishes to push now. This morning, she posted this on both Instagram and Twitter/X, proclaiming her “solidarity” with Gaza. Then she deleted it.

And then she reposted it. But notice the difference in the pictures. The “angry octopus” plushie is cropped out of picture number two. Clearly, she means to stick behind the message of “I heart Hamas,” but the octopus plushie is a bridge too far.
It has come to my knowledge that the stuffed animal shown in my earlier post can be interpreted as a symbol for antisemitism, which I was completely unaware of. The toy in the picture is a tool often used by autistic people as a way to communicate feelings.
We are of course…

The complete tweet/post reads:

We are of course against any type of discrimination, and condemn antisemitism in all forms and shapes. This is non-negotiable. That is why I deleted the last post.
Now, could Greta Thunberg be completely ignorant of the old anti-Semitic trope that the Jews were depicted by Nazi Germany as an octopus, with their tentacles encircling the globe? Possibly. After all, she IS a high school dropout, and clearly, history has never been her strong suit.
What about her claim that the plushie – which is readily available on Amazon – is used as a “tool” by autistic people? This is also true, BUT. BUT, BUT, BUT. If you look at Amazon, these “reversible plushies” come in SO MANY OTHER ANIMAL FORMS. There’s a cat (several different options available), a fox, a turtle, a shark, a freaking axolotl, along with MANY other options. While the octopus is among the most popular options for these plushies, it is not the only one. Is Greta Thunberg ignorant, or anti-Semitic, with the choice of the angry octopus?
Of course you knew that. That’s why you had the octopus in the photo. It was so obviously placed there so you could then draw more attention to yourself by talking about it.
Just face it Greta you are antisemitic. You haven’t said a word for the Jewish people, those who lost…

And that is correct – a quick look through Greta’s Twitter/X posts within the last two weeks mention exactly nothing about Israel, the hostages, or the massacre of innocents. Then again, Greta doesn’t mention her fellow Swedes who were murdered by an ISIS-following terrorist in Belgium this last Monday, either. Methinks Greta is myopically ignorant, or she just loves terrorists. Or both.
Notice that the content of the message didn’t change between the deleted post and the repost. Only the octopus got cropped out, which is why the picture looks lopsided. Greta is still calling for “an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected.” But why stop there, Greta? You have a big platform – you could call for the release of the hostages. Or can you not bring yourself to call for the freeing of innocent Israeli civilians? You once claimed to speak for children on climate change – what about the kidnapped children if Israel who are being held captive (not “detained“) by Hamas? Are you not going to speak up for them? What about little Noya Dan, a young autistic Israeli girl whose picture broke the hearts of parents everywhere when she was thought to be a hostage, but whose body was later identified? Greta, why are you not calling for the release of the children being held as hostages?
To quote a younger Greta: HOW DARE YOU. You are not speaking up for children – you have used your age and disability as a shield. NO MORE. You are an ADULT now, and you are damned well going to be held accountable as one. You want to “stand with Gaza”? Then GO THERE. You seem to have no problem going to multiple countries to protest. Go put your money where your mouth is and go protest in Gaza. I’ll even make this easier for you – go protest in Israel. Go stand there and hold up your little Crayola marker signs and your octopus plushie and tell the Israelis who are burying their children that they need to listen to you, you absolute moral coward. You, who want to be so big and bad and influential, only getting yourself arrested in Western countries who will treat you nicely and let the press take pictures of you. Go make a stand, Greta. If you believe that you are right, then go to Israel and tell them just how righteous you are, you craptastically ignorant fool.
I dare you.

Remind me again just why this little twit has any credibility, any relevance? Just a hateful little troll.
She’s not a cute little girl anymore and has to do something to stay relevant. Next year, she’ll come out as trans.
She was never a “cute little girl.”
Watch Gigi and you’ll see a cute little girl (you have to say those 3 words with a French accent).
Greta was always a grim-faced, sourpussed, naggy little girl.
No but that’s how the media has always portrayed her. “Look at this cute little blonde girl in pigtails. You made her sad because you won’t live in the stone age and she’s had to sacrifice her childhood.”
So like I said, she’ll be trans this time next year and the media will come back and pretend she’s valid.
Isn’t she feebleminded to begin with?
I suspect she has a reasonable, even high, level of intelligence – as tested, though raw intelligence is not sufficient to fully function in society. [I know autistics with IQs above the 99th Percentile who are socially dysfunctional and quite nasty.] However, being autistic she will be literal and tend to black or white views. I suspect she is, like most autistics, obsessive. Compromise is not a strength in we who are autistic and takes some life experience and social training to develop by being allowed to ‘receive’ the natural consequences of one’s own behaviour in broader society. From what we know she’s been promoted [hot-housed?] as a ‘Wunderkind’ by her parents who have used her to push their own views on the environment. She appears to have attracted a group of supporters [or ‘users?] – perhaps they view her as a ‘Messiah of the Green left’. I don’t think she’s a messiah. She’s just a naughty girl who needs grow up and learn to function better in broader society. She might then be somewhat more accepting of the opinions and values of others.
