While the average registered Republican in America sees our elected members of the House and Senate at utterly spineless, they have apparently come up with an absolutely devious plan to pin the highest inflation in 40 years on Joe Biden and the Democrats. The Republicans saw it coming and hatched the wily plan. Have you ever heard of such devious brainiacs?
Okay, in truth, anyone with more than a brain stem saw it coming. The New York Times posted an article last night, “How Republicans Saw Inflation Coming” which was subtitled “The White House has been slow to recognize the political potency of rising prices. But Republicans had a plan, and they think the issue can help realign the American electorate.” Here is the opening paragraph of this brilliant analysis of the Republican plan:
If Democrats lose control of Congress in November, it seems safe to say that inflation will be a major reason for their defeat.
Consumer prices have risen by 7.5 percent over the last year — the fastest rate in 40 years. President Biden’s approval rating is just 41 percent, according to the latest CNN poll, and it’s doubtful those two numbers are a coincidence. Food and gas are more expensive, and voters are upset about it. Rocket science it’s not.
While Democrats have struggled to deliver a consistent message on the economy, Republicans have been disciplined. Dating back to the spring, they’ve made inflation the centerpiece of their re-election pitch to voters. And that didn’t happen by accident.
Republicans disciplined? Bwa ha ha. I guess the New York Times never heard of Crying Adam Kinzinger or Censored Liz Cheney. The brains behind this scheme is fourth term Congresswoman Elise Stefanik:
Early last year, Representative Elise Stefanik of New York, who was then campaigning to become the No. 3 Republican in the House, began to notice that the prices of fruit, bacon, milk and eggs were creeping up. At the time, economists were still debating whether Biden’s rescue plan would set off an inflationary spiral. The White House and the Federal Reserve pushed back, insisting that inflation was a “transitory” phenomenon. But Stefanik had a hunch.
“I’m the grocery shopper in my family, so I go by my gut,” Stefanik told us. As a new mother, she also saw diapers and formula growing more expensive.
“And I’ll tell you,” she added, “babies use a lot of diapers.”
Maybe the Biden Junta economists thought inflation might be transitory but no one outside of the bubble did. Former Harvard President and Obama Economic Adviser Larry Summers did warn the Bidenites:
Former Obama economic advisor Larry Summers repeatedly warned Democrats reckless spending would ignite inflation.

The Biden folks and most other Democrats love Modern Monetary Theory. You know, tax and spend is old thinking. Just print all the money the government wants and everything will be copacetic. That’s why the Democrats passed and Biden signed the American Rescue Plan of $1.9 trillion and the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. Free money for everyone.
Inflation started on day one of the Biden Junta when he shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, which made us energy dependent and began the rise of fuel prices which is a tax (inflation) on every man, woman and child in the United States. California didn’t help with her passage of AB5. AB5 destroyed gig truck drivers and dictated that trucks made before 2010 couldn’t work in California. Another tax. The open Southern Border is another hidden tax on everyone.
What do the Democrats have planned to counter the Republicans ingenious plan to pin inflation on the Democrats? Again, from the NY Times:
This week, a group of Democratic senators, led by Mark Kelly of Arizona and Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, called for suspending the federal gas tax, which is 18.4 cents per gallon.
The move likely wouldn’t have much impact, said Joshua Linn, an economist at the University of Maryland who studies the relationship between energy consumption and climate change. At most, he said, suspending the tax would save families a few hundred dollars a year.
Considering inflation is costing American families about $270 per months, that won’t help much. What is Creepy Joe going to do?
Asked if the president supported suspending the gas tax, a White House spokeswoman, Emilie Simons, gave a two-sentence response.
“President Biden is using every tool available to reduce prices,” she said, pointing to the petroleum release. “All options remain on the table looking ahead.”
Creepy Joe said yesterday that he is going to work “like the devil” to lower gas prices:
Don’t you wish these people were just incompetent rather than evil?

Wait a minute! I thought our infrastructure was crumbling? I thought the federal gas tax went to maintain the interstate highway system? So. They don’t really care about infrastructure. Imagine that.
Dammitt Howy! You nailed it
