Biden lied. Yesterday he admitted what we knew all along. There was no way that he and Cackles Kamala would ever beat back Covid. Oh, but there’s more. 

President Biden acknowledged Monday there is “more work to do” on COVID-19 testing in the U.S. after many scrambled to get tests over Christmas and ahead of New Year’s Day amid a sharp rise in cases.

“Seeing how tough it was for some folks to get a test this weekend shows that we have more work to do. We’re doing it,” Biden said on a White House COVID-19 response team call with governors to discuss the administration’s response to the omicron variant.

This from a guy whose Administration put the kibosh on getting rapid tests deployed in time for the holidays. Per Vanity Fair, a publication I NEVER thought would call a Democrat Administration out, we find that the feds were NOT interested in helping companies ramp up to get rapid test kits deployed across the U.S. for the holiday season. 

On October 22, a group of COVID-19 testing experts joined a Zoom call with officials from the Biden administration and presented a strategy for overhauling America’s approach to testing.

The 10-page plan, which Vanity Fair has obtained, would enable the U.S. to finally do what many other countries had already done: Put rapid at-home COVID-19 testing into the hands of average citizens, allowing them to screen themselves in real time and thereby help reduce transmission. The plan called for an estimated 732 million tests per month, a number that would require a major ramp-up of manufacturing capacity. It also recommended, right on the first page, a nationwide “Testing Surge to Prevent Holiday COVID Surge.”

As Vanity Fair goes on to point out, just days later, all those advocating for this plan received word from the White House. The plan was dead in the water. Period. Full. Stop. 

And now we are dealing with the reaction, overreaction, and hysteria regarding the Omicron variant. As of Sunday night December 26, over 7,000 flights were delayed or canceled because of staff shortages due to the variant and the quarantine mandates. I’m sure, as the week goes on, we’ll find out the delays and cancellations went close to 10,000. 

Meanwhile, as Shelby notes here, SUDDENLY the CDC has changed its quarantine protocols over the variant! 

Yesterday, Joe Biden admitted to what we all knew. The White House is not able to beat back Covid. There’s no federal solution for this.

Yet that was EXACTLY what he campaigned on!

Promises made, promises broken once again.

Oh sure, as Hot Air points out, Biden is leaving the Covid response up to the states.

HOWEVER, Joe Biden completely and utterly promised to beat the Covid virus into the ground.

People bought into that. They believe/believed that. Biden campaigned on that premise the entire time.

Multiple tweets, and plus he’s on record saying the same while debating Trump!

Now the Biden Administration is telling the world, that they have no idea what they are doing. 

Biden and his Administration have spent months demonizing Republican states over their Covid response. Specifically their target has been Florida. Yet it is the Democrat-run states who are dealing with the exceptionally high case load right now! 

Right now, across multiple states, people are trying to get Covid tests for multiple reasons. A. they believe they have it. B. Someone close to them tested positive. C. They need a negative test to participate in an event. And, when the Walgreens system goes down for hours due to a IT issue, that helps no one. 

Don’t get me wrong. Federal involvement in this Covid mess has been a train wreck from the start. Secondly, federal mandates such as the OSHA crap are overreaching and being challenged in the courts. Third, the federal government IS the problem when it comes to a Covid response. States SHOULD be handling the response and implement plans that work for THEIR individual states. 

Joe Biden flatly told the world that, once he became President, he would shut down the virus. Deanna wrote about Biden’s Lies of the Year, and Covid is one of those lies. Now we find out that there’s no plan. There never was a plan. They don’t know how to come up with a plan. And, when someone came up with a plan, the Biden Administration shut it down. Even the media is finally getting on board with what we realized in 2020.
