Mad King Newsom has shown no signs of retreating in far-left governance of neo-feudal California. While in a fit of sanity Californians rejected Prop16 (legalizing racial discrimination) at the polls, Newsom gives another middle-finger salute to them by nominating Assembly-critter Shirley Weber, Prop16 cheerleader, for CA Secretary of State.

While no official word has Vice-Pretender Roundheels Harris resigning from the Senate, Gavin Newsom went ahead anyway and picked his special little toady, Alex Padilla to fill the seat. Of course, Padilla’s ethnicity counted for more than anything else and Alex removed his lips from Newsom’s derrière just long enough to blubber his gratitude.

A video released by Mr. Newsom’s office showed Mr. Padilla becoming emotional after Mr. Newsom, a close friend, offered him the job. Mr. Padilla reflected on the hard work of his parents, who came to the U.S. from Mexico and worked as a cook and a housekeeper.

“It’s a hell of an important perspective to bring to Washington,” he told Mr. Newsom.

Really? Has any Democrat ever given Senator Marco Rubio any recognition for the important perspective from being the son of immigrant parents from Cuba who came to the U.S. to work as a bartender and housekeeper? Melanin and humble beginnings are only authentic as long as one is a Leftist, of course.

Padilla’s role as Secretary of State, among other duties, is to safe guard the voting rights of Californians. He not only has failed miserably (such failure being by design) including his consistent hands-on writing of ballot proposition titles to mendaciously make the ones he doesn’t like (i.e. non-leftist) appear as evil-on-wheels. Padilla was also sued for awarding in secret a $35 million get out the vote contract to a Team Biden firm.

After such a sterling performance of Leftwing chicanery, Gavin couldn’t just hand over such a post to just anyone. Gavin could have actually given the post to someone who would take the duties seriously and ethically. Instead he chose San Diego’s own contribution to the collectivist racial spoils system, Shirley Weber.

“Dr. Weber is a tireless advocate and change agent with unimpeachable integrity,” Newsom said. “Now, she’ll be at the helm of California’s elections as the next Secretary of State — defending and expanding the right to vote and serving as the first African American to be California’s Chief Elections Officer.”

Oh my, Newsom’s change agent will be in charge of expanding the right to vote. I don’t know about you, but as a Californian I’m unaware of any legal citizen who doesn’t already have the right to vote. Indeed, the California election system actually needs a high colonic.

One Shirley Weber wrote the so-called African American Reparations Bill that was passed last summer. Weber’s contention is that while California never had slavery, it abetted it. And every group disparity is proof that black folk are owed something.

“The discriminatory practices of the past echo into the everyday lives of today’s Californians,” said Weber, who leads the Legislative Black Caucus.

Two Weber was a leading political creature responsible for getting Prop16 on the ballot and asserting false claims that non-discrimination law actually is racism itself.

“Since becoming law in 1996, Proposition 209 has … perpetuated a wage gap wherein women make 80 cents on every dollar made by men and has allowed discriminatory hiring and contracting processes to continue unhindered.”

Even Politifact, usually kind to progressive arguments, has refuted the 80% assertion,

His pro-criminal stance is from the peculiar Leftist idea that we are not supposed to ever punish criminals – no matter how heinous their behavior. This is oft referred to as restorative justice and Ms. Weber is one of its most zealous advocates. She wrote AB2590 (passed and signed into law by Newsom 2016)

The main features of this bill are that it removes the word punishment from Penal Code section 1170, subdivision (1), and changes the purpose of sentencing to public safety. In addition, it encourages the Department of Corrections to provide opportunities for education and rehabilitation to all inmates, not just non-violent felony offenders and those with short sentences.

Isn’t that special? Murderers and rapists shouldn’t get prison, they should get daycamp!

For 40 years Ms. Weber has been teaching Africana studies, a department she founded, at San Diego State University. She brought that racist log-on-her-shoulder to the state legislature when she was first elected in 2014. Six years later, this racist is poised to step into the leadership of the department that oversees California elections.
