On Wednesday, President Donald Trump Tweeted a Photoshop of his head on the body of Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. In a world filled with filters and altered photos, you would think this is no big deal. But you, since you are not a Liberal, have no idea how offensive this is.
Happy Thanksgiving, Victory Girls readers! We have so much to be thankful for this year. We should be especially thankful that, as Conservatives, we are Ronald Reagan’s “happy warriors”. We, as a collective, have a sense of humor.
Here is how the U.K. Guardian reported this Earth-shaking event:
But this morning, the president himself posted a photo where his head was photoshopped on to something utterly surprising: the super-buff, bare body of the fictional boxer Rocky Balboa.
It was tweeted at 10.54am, with Trump offering exactly zero explanation – not even a caption. All we know is that the tweet was sent during a golf trip at one of Trump’s golf clubs in Florida, during his Thanksgiving holiday at Mar-a-Lago.
Who knows how we should interpret it? Perhaps the 45th president suffered a blow to the head this morning. Or perhaps he wants us to know he’s a fighter. Maybe he’s upset about of all the low blows thrown his way during his tenure, with people saying mean things like “why does he grab women by the pussy?”
“Who knows how we should interpret it?” You have got to be kidding me. It’s Donald Trump’s head on Rocky Balboa’s body. What’s to interpret? It’s funny as can be. Donald Trump has been accused of punching down all the time. Donald Trump considers himself a fighter for the truth, justice and the American Way. This isn’t Soren Kierkegaard here.
Donald Trump sees himself as the plucky underdog punching above his weight. He is us, the little guys, fighting the Deep State. How hard is that to interpret? And, it’s funny.
Here is how 11 Alive saw this tweet:
Deadline.com reported the response is YUGE:
The tweet has blown up on social media, garnering more than 330k likes, 100k retweets and 87k replies in just a few hours. Trump followed it up with a retweet of a Piers Morgan laughing emoji response.
The Twitter account of a Dr. Brown knew just what to think:
2/ In Trump's own mind, the body (and brain) he is *constantly* mentally photoshopping onto his, is Barack Obama's — not Sylvester Stallone's. For, as racist as Trump is, he envies Obama's intelligence, popularity, ability to lead, and the true love of the people.

This Dr. Brown alleges himself to be a physician, body language and emotional intelligence expert. He is also a mind and heart reader. He clearly has no funny bone and takes himself way too seriously.
Me, I think the President has a sense of humor. Sylvester Stallone visited the White House in May of 2018 to discuss a pardon for late boxer, Jack Johnson. Maybe that was on his mind. Maybe he wishes he was as cut as Rocky Balboa. Or, maybe he just thought it was funny. Sometimes, a thing is just a thing, no deep philosophy or psychology involved.
Today, while you are listing the things you are thankful for, be thankful for being a Conservative with a sense of humor. Happy Thanksgiving. Gobble. Gobble.

I wonder if it hurt when their sense of humor was pulled out.
“This Dr. Brown alleges himself to be a physician, body language and emotional intelligence expert. He is also a mind and heart reader. “.. and if he believes the crap he’s spouting about Zero, he must also be brain damaged!
No. He’s not trolling liberals/progressives. Mr. Trump has a history of these “grandiose” self perceptions of himself. His maturity is about at the level a three year old and that’s on a good day.
Even if what you say about President Trump is accurate, The only thing the Dr said about Obama that was even close to true was that he was popular (at least enough to win against piss poor Republican candidates). He damn sure isn’t intelligent, couldn’t lead a horse to water, and doesn’t give a rats ass about the people, his only love is for himself (watch ANY speech of his, and count how many times he refers to himself…)
OOH, and you’re dead wrong, he most definitely IS trolling the left, and from your response, and others mentioned above, he was VERY successful.
Mr. Trump has a narcissistic personality. Very few people, on the left or on the right, disagree with that assessment. Given his narcissistic personality, he thrives on anything (“I’m a genius”, “Only I can fix it”, “I will only work and not golf like Obama”, etc. etc. etc.). He’s not trolling anyone. He loves and thrives in the admiration of his adoring fans.
Embrace the power of AND…
‘Mr. Trump has a narcissistic personality…”
Perhaps. But has anyone made more grandiose statements about himself than Obama? He who said he could stop the oceans from rising, he who told the world that no one on his staff could out speech write him, out policy him, out anything him. Yet, nary a comment from his adoring Press.
Those of us who support Trump, in spite of his flaws, don’t mind so much the endless he revived from the press. It is the endless criticism on the heals of 8 years of fawning and obsequiousness toward Obama that disgust us.
