It’s bad enough the Boy Scouts are not just Boy Scouts anymore. (Seriously, what’s the point)? Yesterday, Democrats voted 236-173 to require schools to include male athletes who identify as transgender girls on female sports teams.
Liberal outlets are framing this act as protections for LGBTQ people in employment sector and housing but the Equality Act, would also force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls.
So, let’s unpack this for a moment, shall we? Democrats in one breath say they are all about women’s rights because women are on the short end of the stick and can’t seem to catch a break. They want us to have equal pay for equal work, they want to believe us when we say we’ve been assaulted, they want us to be able to have “bodily autonomy” by offering us the liberty to kill a child in our womb but it is now okay for young men (biologically speaking) to compete on the girls’ team and strip a girl of a title she would have earned?
Wait…what?!
There’s more. Debbie Lesko (R. Arizona), had this to say:
It requires organizations such as schools, churches, university dormitories, or nonprofit organizations to allow biological males in traditionally women’s spaces like women’s bathrooms, women’s locker rooms, women’s showers—even without any type of medical diagnosis or psychological diagnosis.”

But hold on. Everything we know about sexual differentiation between men and women tells us that it begins at the chromosomal level from the moment of conception. Sexual difference is inscribed in our genetic code. The Equality Act ham-fistedly redefines this basic fact about what it means to be human — at the expense of women.

In some ways, we’ve circled back to a scene straight out of 1984-an “Equality Act” that promotes inequality. I do not care how much in the way of hormones these young men are taking to become young women, their “parts” are still intact (pardon the graphic imagery) and they are physically different than young women their age. This is not about feels. This is not about how a young man psychologically and emotionally can identify as a women. This is about physical prowess and abilities. This is about biology. It’s amazing how the Party of Science, the intellectually superior left, is silent on this one.
During today’s debate, I watched in bewilderment as House Democrats defended the right of biological men to compete in women’s sports.
They said it was “fear mongering” to be opposed to such a thing.

To oppose the Equality Act is not an act of bigotry as the left likes to paint as they serve up this perfectly crafted chaos cocktail. The so-called “Equality Act” gives preferential treatment to a marginalized group of citizens at the expense of others. Last I checked, this is not equality…this is favoritism. This is granted privilege. Now, I have nothing against members of the LGBTQ community. I may not understand their decisions or the logic behind these decisions. I do believe they should be treated with dignity and respect just like every American citizen across the board. I just don’t think that if push came to shove and a corporation had to choose between a straight, white girl who shows up to work every day and a trans-female with a less-than-stellar attendance record during a round of layoffs that they should chose the trans-female based on “equality”. I don’t believe a young woman who is a high school senior, who works hard, should be overlooked for a college sports scholarship because some biological boy who identifies as a woman swooped in and took that scholarship. This defies logic. But yes, we ARE talking about the Democrats here. They defy logic while continuing to stir the pot and pit Americans against one another. What better way than to fire up a bunch of women than to throw the word “equality” in their faces and blatantly celebrate this victory?
The Equality Act is not a victory. Not even close. Perhaps they should reword things a smidgen and call it the “Preferential Treatment Act”. What is the point of having gender-specific sports if they are indeed co-ed? Oh, silly Democrats! We think your Equality Act is not “inclusive” enough (we know how much you all love that word). Come on, now guys. We thought EVERYONE gets a trophy!

Of course they said that. It’s how they keep you in line.
When it comes to this sort of stupidity, I’m with Mal, “So, no more running; I aim to misbehave.”
Now, I have nothing against members of the LGBTQ community.
I didn’t either, until they started demanding I treat them as if their desires were perfectly normal and I had to endorse their choices. The ones who fall into that category are intolerant bullies – and I HATE bullies.
This defies logic.
Not if you look at it from the right angle: this is INTENTIONAL.
See, in Basic Training, they (to an extent) dehumanize you, break you down, in order to build you back up into the soldier/sailor/airmen/marine they want you to be.
That’s exactly what they’re doing. In order to create the New Man, you first have to destroy the old man. You have to strip away all his fears, superstitions, reason. You have to destroy his self, in order to recreate his Self – in service of the State. Only when you’ve destroyed his old self, will the new Self believe whatever you say, no matter what it is, in defiance of all that has defined Humanity for millennia.
And, only when we are the New Man, can the elites rule over us properly.
It is perfectly logical, in the right light.

Preferential treatment is to be given to a minority group who ‘choose’ to change their presenting identity, presumably to gain some advantage in the adopted, but unreal identity. That is favouritism.
As Mary Vought states: ”Sexual difference is inscribed in our genetic code.” The physical advantages granted males by nature are massive and comprehensive. That’s why, when I was teaching co-ed physical education classes, it was necessary to carefully choose competitive activities/games for my lessons so that girls would not be over-powered by boys, especially from grade 3 upwards. Some girls could take on the boys for a few years – just, but once puberty hit the actual physical differences became more marked between the sexes and the girls didn’t have a hope. I, as an educator, was also required to present a curriculum that met the developmental needs of boys and girls, i.e. of both sexes, it being implicit that boys and girls are not inherently identical.
As for the Left’s use of science? They are selective and only use ”science” when it suits them politically, e.g. the ”science” of gobble warming. [They gobble like turkeys.]
