Chicago’s most notorious State’s Attorney, Kim Foxx, who let Jussie Smollett walk, is still in the hot seat. And for good reason. As a result of her dumbfounding decision, the Illinois Prosecutors Bar Association condemned how she handled the case. The National District Attorneys Association also trashed her performance. On top of all that, the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police and a north suburban police chiefs association issued “no confidence” statements, while a retired judge called for a probe into how Foxx handled Smollett.
So what did Kim Foxx do? Apologize, maybe? No, she threw down the race card.
Because it can’t be that she’s incompetent, corrupt, or both. No, the problem has got to be racism.
Speaking Saturday morning at a rally of Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Push Coalition, Foxx said this:
“I have been asking myself for the last two weeks what is this really about. As someone who has lived in this city, who came up in the projects of this city to serve as the first African American woman in this role, it is disheartening to me … that when we get in these positions somehow the goalposts change.”
Poor Kim Foxx. Here’s a woman who has risen from poverty to become the first black Cook County State’s Attorney and yet she blames her problems on racism.
Are you feeling even a teensy bit sorry for her? Nope, neither am I.
But wait! There’s more!
That Rainbow Push Coalition rally was supposed to have featured “south suburban African American police chiefs” along with a “multiracial coalition of clergy, lawyers, elected officials, and community activists.” They would all be there to support her and “condemn the politically motivated and racially charged Fraternal Order of Police. . .” Of course Jesse Jackson was also there, showing up as he always does when he can do a little race hustling.

Guess who were no-shows? The vaunted “south suburban African American police chiefs.”
Awkward!
However, U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush was there to call the FOP the “sworn enemy of black people.” And community activist Ja’Mal Green took things even further when he named police the “Blue Klux Klan.”

These activists spoke before Kim Foxx made her remarks. So what did she say about Rush and Green dissing the police? Not a word. In fact, when reporter Matt Finn asked her about those comments, she brushed him off and refused to answer.
A rally in support of Kim Foxx just happened in which at least one speaker flat out called the FOP racist “blue klux klan.” Foxx did not object to that and carried on with her speech. After her extemely short presser I asked if she agrees that all police are racist: pic.twitter.com/kqM4G8hAze

But several hours after the Kim Foxx Support Rally, a mass shooting went down in the high-crime neighborhood of Englewood. Not only that, but the shooting took place at a baby shower. Two of the victims were children: a ten-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy. Thankfully, no one died.
Which made me wonder — did the “Blue Klux Klan” have anything to do with that shooting? Did any police officers go into that gathering and randomly shoot black people?
Hardly. In fact, you can see that the hated “Blue Klux Klan” showed up at the crime scene to help save lives. One of the baby shower attendees said this about how police assisted the little boy who got shot:
“Two of the officers saved his life. We were just trying to hold the pressure down, but the officers came up and started doing CPR, and I honestly believe they saved his life.”
That’s the “Blue Klux Klan, sworn enemy of black people” at work.
Moreover, in 2018 Chicago law enforcement killed only six people in the city. That’s right — only six, with 15 wounded. Compare that to almost 3000 times Chicagoans shot and killed or wounded each other in 2018.
But Kim Foxx and her race-baiting posse insist that Chicago police are the Worst Thing Ever in the Windy City. And if anyone holds Foxx accountable for the mess she made of the Jussie Smollett case, they must be racists. Because it just can’t be the fault of an incompetent and corrupt black woman who should’ve never run the SA office anyway.

Ah, so – along with the NAN thing – this must be Grifter Weekend in NYC and Chicago.
what is this really about
A guy lying to get attention and further a leftist narrative. So he faked a crime – which seems really ironic in Chicago, where it seems there should be plenty real ones to choose from.
the first African American woman in this role
But, by far, not the first crook or grifter! You’re trodding a well-worn path, hun.
that when we get in these positions somehow the goalposts change
Well, how about that! I agree with you on this!
Of course Jesse Jackson was also there
Well, duh! He founded the Rainbow Extortion Push Coalition.
“Blue Klux Klan”
Oh, wow. Just, oh my. Oh my, oh my, oh my.
over 2400 times Chicagoans shot and killed or wounded each other
Oh, c’mon, Kim! That’s unpossible! First of all, Chicago is a tourist town. Second of all, they have all those strict gun laws! That just canNOT be!
Hey, I’m sure Foxx has the most scandal-free administration EVER! ‘Cause she’s black and oppressed and sh*t.
Ride it out and it will all vanish into the memory hole just as soon as another crisis can be arranged.
Kim and Bobby Rush should strap on a gun and a badge and go arrest the bad guys.
