In public, Melania Trump always looks composed and sophisticated. It’s a carry-over of her years as a fashion model, I suppose. However, Mrs. Trump has now achieved yet another distinction.

She’s now FLOTUS, Master Troll. Skill level, expert.

How did she attain that title? It was due to yet another pair of stiletto shoes.

On Saturday, the President and First Lady returned to Houston to meet with refugees from Hurricane Harvey. And once again, Melania Trump wore high heels as she accompanied her husband to Andrews Air Force Base, where they left for Texas on Air Force One. Then, when she got off the plane in Houston, she was once again wearing sneakers.

For those of you who watched HBO’s “Sex in the City” back in the day (mea culpa), you’ll recognize the designer name of those snakeskin stilettos. They’re Manolo Blahnik pumps, the kind that character Carrie Bradshaw always craved.

Only this time the mean girls and boys at Yahoo News had a field day with her dress, too.

They added:

First lady Melania Trump is either blissfully unaware of the heat she took last week for her “storm stilettos,” or she doesn’t care what people think. On Sept. 2, on their way to a second visit to hurricane-ravaged Houston, she once again strode with her husband across the White House lawn in sky-high heels.

I don’t think she gives a rat’s rear end what the chattering class say about her clothing. In fact, she magnificently trolls them without saying a word. She “keeps calm and carries on.” And I applaud her for that.

Here’s what FLOTUS was doing today in Houston. I doubt her haters in the media were spending any time helping refugees there.

However, the media did gush over former First Lady Michelle Obama’s choice of dress as she chilled out on a yacht in Mallorca. That’s in Spain, for those of us not privileged enough to enjoy the tony vacations of the Obama’s.

The British Daily Mail raved:

Michelle Obama looked ever the A-lister as she stepped out for a workout and a yacht trip in Mallorca, Spain.

Another tabloid, Splash News, chimed in the slobber fest:

“Michelle Obama shows off toned legs in Mallorca.”

“We Never Thought We’d See Michelle Obama in a High-Slit Dress on a Yacht.”

So what did Michelle O. wear that had the fanboys’ and fangirls’ hearts all a-flutter? I’ll just leave this right here:

Meanwhile, Melania Trump can’t catch a break. No matter what she wears, the lovely and gracious First Lady will get slammed in the press and on social media. And Michelle Obama will forever be the girl of their dreams.
