The Attempted Humiliation Of Donald Trump

Yesterday, I told you all about Stormy Daniel’s salacious testimony in the court room of the NYC “Hush Money” trial of Donald Trump. I now understand the motivation behind the Biden/Bragg decision to put Stormy on the stand to spew her indelicate details. The only reason was to humiliate Mr. Trump for the 2024 Presidential Race. This humiliation attempt was to invalidate the 2016 win and prepare him for a 2024 loss. Do not doubt me and don’t be too happy if you think he was humiliated.

Before the year 2000, Republican Presidents were just flat STOOPID. The year 2000 brought a new game. Bush v. Gore gave the Dems a whole new game: The Illegitimate Republican President. Even in his 2004 reelection, Bush was illegitimate. He never won the Popular Vote and he was STOOPID. Holy Electoral College, Batman. President Trump was illegitimate for this and sundry other reasons. And, he was STOOPID. The Democrats learned well from 2000 never to let that happen again. Now, they will use lawfare and humiliation. From the BBC:

Ms Daniels’ claim – that she received $130,000 (£103,000) from Mr Trump’s personal lawyer in 2016 in exchange for her silence about having sex with him 10 years earlier – is at the centre of the historic New York trial, the first criminal trial of a former US president.

Mr Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal paying Ms Daniels to hide the alleged sexual encounter. He has denied all wrongdoing.

Earlier in the day, under questioning from the prosecution, Ms Daniels provided a detailed picture of her alleged encounters with Mr Trump.

But the star witness was repeatedly reprimanded by the judge for her meandering answers.

“Ms Daniels, please just keep the answers short,” Justice Juan Merchan said.

Since Stormy admitted she was coached by the Prosecution, short answers would not have furthered the Prosecution’s goal: Humiliation.

And, the story Stormy told was not believable. No condom? Trump is a known germaphobe.

The point was humiliation. Topped with lots of “tawdry”. Stephen Kruiser wrote in his Morning Briefing from PJ Media:

However, because the world has gone crazy, I found myself thinking of the word “tawdry” when catching up on the latest from the Judge Juan Merchan kangaroo-court railroading of former President Donald Trump.

I can assure you that tawdry isn’t a regular part of my vocabulary. In fact, I don’t think it’s ever even popped into my head unless I’ve just read it somewhere. These perverters of justice who are going after Trump are some major league scumbags, though.

Merchan’s courtroom has been steeped in sleaze since this whole — say it with me — tawdry affair began. His blatant abuse of the law and disregard for the United States Constitution in the pursuit of rigging the presidential election have quite an ick factor for anyone who still believes in the rule of law.

Prosecutors in this sham trial decided that there were more depths to be plumbed in this charade, so they called America’s most annoying adult entertainment has-been to the stand.

All for humiliation just in case Trump should be reelected. Kruiser included this from the great Victoria Taft:

Because the Trump trial is a political operation and not really a trial, prosecutors put on the stand Stormy Daniels, the professional adult movie copulator, who treated the courtroom like one of her movie sets. And it got worse from there. By the time the oratorical dust settled, Donald Trump’s defense asked and was denied a mistrial in this bookkeeping case.

So outrageous was some of her testimony that at one point the judge had prosecutors try to rein in Daniels, who came prepared with jokes, stories, and other tropes to win over jurors.

Katie Phang is, as usual, wrong with her conclusions, but here is a good wrap up of the day in court yesterday.

The only people who should face humiliation are people like Lawrence O’Donnell:

A farking Nun? I don’t think Trump was humiliated or should be. I think he is mad as a hornet.

Republican presidents before 2000 were stupid? Ronald Reagan? Dwight Eisenhower?

    Seriously??

No one asked her the question I wanted asked:

    “Will you lie* for money?”

    * I don’t mean the Lie Down type of Lie — since everyone already knows the answer to that question when she’s asked.

Dimocrats today follow the Dan Rather rule. “If it isn’t true, it should be!”
