Yet another notch in her belt in the “Champion for Women Category”.

Back in 1975, after fawning over Alinsky and her left-wing contemporaries, Hillary Rodham Clinton was whisked away to Arkansas by her “prince charming”, Bill. Way before the pantsuit-donning, the shrill speeches, the celebrity love affair with a uterus in The White House and the corruption crazy train we know as the Clinton legacy, HRC was an aspiring young attorney. A young attorney who defended a rapist who took advantage of a (then) 12 year-old girl.

Kathy Shelton was just 12 years old when a a 41 year-old drifter raped her on the side of a road. Rapist Thomas Alfred Taylor pleaded down to ‘unlawful fondling of a minor’ and served less than a year in prison after Clinton was able to block the admission of forensic evidence that linked her client to the crime.

“I don’t think [Clinton’s] for women or girls. I think she’s lying, I think she said anything she can to get in the campaign and win. If she was [an advocate for women and children], she wouldn’t have done that to me at 12 years old.”-Kathy Shelton

Taylor pleased down to ‘unlawful fondling of a minor’ and served less than a year in prison after Clinton was able to block the admission of forensic evidence that linked her client to the crime. According to the Daily Mail:

During the case, Clinton accused the 12-year-old of ‘seek[ing] out older men’ and ‘engag[ing] in fantasizing’ in court affidavits, and later laughed while discussing aspects of the case in a recently-unearthed audiotape from the 1980s.

On the audiotape, Clinton indicated that she believed Taylor, her client, was guilty, saying that his ability to pass a lie detector test ‘forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs’.

In fact, Clinton was caught on tape laughed about the case. She discussed the ethical implicationsof such a case in Living History but the sentiments echoed in Living History are in stark contrast to the audio which can be found here.

So now, defending “to the best of your ability” includes putting a young woman through hell on Earth and pleading down a sentence for a rapist. “The best of her ability” consists of Hillary Clinton providing a more comfortable life for a pedophile while a young woman suffers and is insulted with accusations of “asking for it” because Kathy Shelton, like some pre-teen and teenage girls, occasionally fascinated about being with an older man. My guess is this fantasy involved a celebrity crush and visions of living happily-ever-after with a white picket fence and 2.2 kids and not a vision of being violated on the side of a road somewhere. My guess is that some 12 year-old girls may not yet have a full grasp of what “it” is but Hillary Rodham Clinton assumed a young Kathy Shelton did.

Young college rape-culture activists ala Mattress Girl will vote for her because “she’s a woman” and clearly understands their “plight”. Feminists will become deaf and unable to speak and blind with the ballot in their hands. And yet, some women with young daughters will also cast their votes for the ol’ glass ceiling warrior because she is a woman and she cares about women. Unless they’re “asking for it”. Well, Clinton’s “asking for it”. The women’s vote. And, evidently, that is ALL she cares about. Women and children first.
