Woman Subjected to Cavity Searches and Forced Bowel Movements by Border Patrol Files Lawsuit

Apparently now just crossing the border into the US means the Border Patrol gets to sodomize you.  A woman has filed suit against the CMP after being subjected to six hours of repeated cavity searches and forced bowel movements, all because a drug dog lunged at her.  Please note that they didn’t find any drugs.  At all.

Over the course of the next six hours, Defendants subjected Ms. Doe to a series of highly invasive searches, any one of which would have been humiliating and demeaning. First, government agents stripped searched [sic] Ms. Doe and made a visual and manual inspection of her genitals and anus. Finding nothing, Defendants next subjected her to an observed bowel movement. When that procedure yielded no evidence of drugs, Defendants X-rayed Ms. Doe. Having found nothing, Defendants next shackled Ms. Doe to an examining table and inserted a speculum into her vagina, performed a rectal exam on her, and conducted a bimanual cavity search of her vagina. Still not satisfied, Defendants subjected Ms. Doe to a CT scan and again found no evidence of drugs.

To add insult to injury, Jane Doe then received a bill of $5,000 for the “services” rendered.  Because somebody has to pay for all this.  I’d like to take it out of the rectal cavity of the people who did this, but I digress.

Are you not angry?  Does it not matter that this is going on?  Why do we permit it?  We drive through checkpoints and dutifully answer questions like sheep instead of calling them out on their unconstitutional and ridiculous crap, like they even have a right to ask us anything.  “Where are you going?  Where are you coming from?”  A place called Noneyabiz, that’s where.  But it’s not just checkpoints and border patrols.  It’s everywhere. We stand like zombies in lines at airport security, barefoot and vulnerable, holding our pants up like fools because our belt is in the bin.  If a terrorist or other bad-type person were really interested in killing a large number of people, one of the prime places to do it would be airport security.  Who’s going to stop him?  The TSA morons who are doing some sexual assault of their own?  Or the hordes of people standing there with no shoes and a ziploc bag of shampoo and mouthwash?

By the way, why do you think the federal agencies have become so preoccupied with checkpoints and cavity searches and fondling and outright sexual assault of American citizens?  Simple.  It’s degrading.  It’s humiliating and awful.  You put up with it so it gets over with sooner.  It teaches you that you are not in control, that they can do what they want to you and you will take it.  It’s psychological and calculated.  We will control you, and we will violate you at will, and you will do nothing.  You will accept it.

And we do.  We would rather just let them humiliate and violate us than miss our flight.  We would rather just get it over with than risk ‘getting in trouble’ for standing up for ourselves.  We would rather not cause a scene.  In short, we are this mess because we didn’t have the balls to stand up against it then, and we don’t have the balls to do it now.  Not collectively, anyway.  There are those who do it, and God bless them.  What about the rest of you?  In the long term, what’s more important?  That you get to Disney or Maui or Europe?  Or that when you return, you’re still free?

What if one day, for a full 24 hour period, every passenger at JFK or LAX refused to be touched or scanned by TSA?  Every single one of them.  What if every plane that took off from those two airports were empty because people refused to subject themselves to the BS “security measures” in place?  What if millions of us just refused to fly at all?  What if we refused to even deal with checkpoints?  What if we called law enforcement out on the unconstitutionality of them?

What if we all just said no?

You’re asking a lot of sheep. I quit flying when this crap started, and will not resume until (ha, ha yeah right!) it is over.

Even “good things” go very wrong when “guv’mint” shoves itself in….

I just watched a beautiful 5 minute video of breathtaking views of dolphins, gray whales & blue whales, done by a husband & wife team using a large enflatable boat & a DRONE!!! They took turns driving boat & steering drone, but because the boat was off to the side at a non-harassing distance, and the drone was silent, they got fantastic shots. One sequence was of a mother gray whale teaching her calf how to breath, while a guard whale floated nearby. The calf rested above her mouth as she lowered it under the water a bit, then raised it up…she would blow out air & take a breath, then lower it back shallowly. You could see the little calf opened & closing its little blow hole. It was beautiful & amazing to watch!!! THIS is a great use for drones……but, “guv’mint” turns them into weapons. NEVER, EVER, TRUST GOVERNMENT!!!’

If the authorities actually cared about airport security instead of PC theater and social conditioning, security would be based on the Israeli model which profiles based on race and behavior, among other things.

P.S. Having a New Mexico ID is de facto permisso for the authorities to use extreme cavity search techniques. She’s lucky to have not gotten the bloody broomstick treatment.

Aren’t ombudsmen called into “action” when their are complaints of mal-treatment and such at hospitals, nursing homes, etc.? I wonder if there is a role for them concerning these types of situations?

I hope a lawsuit is in the wings.

    • GWB says:

There already is a lawsuit in the system for the guy who had this happen to him at the hands of New Mexico police. Oh, and the other woman who had NM plice do the same thing to her.

(In those cases, a search warrant was violated, as well, by the victim being taken out of county for the hospital to do their part The hospital in-county refused to do the necessary procedures.)

I don’t like to talk about hurting police officers or others in positions of authority, BUT

if this was about to happen to any woman I knew, you can without a doubt know that headline would be talking about a murder and not a search.

I’ve said from the beginning that the TSA would come to this and that the ONLY way to stop it would be to make the airlines feel so much pain that THEY would complain to the government. IF there were any justice in the world, the thugs manning the security lines at airports or serving no-knock warrants and killing dogs and old men in their beds would be hanging from the ramparts for the vultures.

long and extreme prison terms, registration as a sex offender if and when they do get out, and civil penalties. ANY AND ALL cops, rent a cop, or medical persons who participates is a pervert and belongs behind bars.

I love the quip at Reason magazine – “This search was legal because the dog gave us permission”. Most dog/handler pairs are not tested for false positives (alerting when no drugs are present), just the ability to detect hidden samples.
