US-Africa Summit: Monsters in the White House and we don’t mean the Obama’s!

Here is the guest list: Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Yahya Jammeh, Paul Biya, Blaise Compaore, Jose Eduardo do Santos, Paul Kagame, Goodluck Jonathan, Uhuru Kenyatta, from Equitorial Guinea, Gambia, Burkana Faso, Angola, Rwanda, Nigeria, Kenya…

Who ARE these people you ask? And what do they have to do with the countries listed? And what in the world does that have to do with Monsters at the White House?

The simplest answer is, the “leaders” listed above all participated in a US-Africa Summit and were honored by an invitation to a formal White House dinner. They are dictators and responsible for more human suffering then can be imagined: genocide, starvation where their countrymen live on less than $2 a day, brutal human rights violations including torture and horrendous anti-gay laws, violent rigged elections, money laundering, rampant disease – and yes, that likely includes the Ebola epidemic – just to name a few. However, in Obama’s world, even the worst of dictators must have fun once in a while! Never mind that many of them are people I would not want to know. The line WAS drawn at one point, Zimbabwe didn’t get invited.  So there’s that.

So, with the Dictators in town, it was PARTY TIME again, at the White House.  The current occupant, and glow-in-the-dark FLOTUS, can’t resist entertaining that costs the US taxpayers A LOT OF $$. Because you see… parties are FUN, President stuff – that’s HARD.

Here’s ‘The Shiney’: Jill Biden’s DRESS!! Valerie Jarrett playing handsie with US Rep Gwen Moore!  FLOTUS all top knotty and glowing!!  And let’s not forget our “personal” connection to all these great and wonderful *cough* leaders.  This, according to POTUS:

“And I stand before you as the President of the United States and a proud American. I also stand before you as the son of a man from Africa. (Applause.) The blood of Africa runs through our family. And so for us, the bonds between our countries, our continents, are deeply personal.”

Evidently it doesn’t matter what they DO to their own country men, it matters that they all share a supposedly common background!  This time I wasn’t talking about the current occupants of the White House. However, if we, to echo Kit’s on-point post don’t stand up and BE PATRIOTS and call dictators OUT for their actions rather than let them partay at OUR White House, then we might as well continue on the path of cluelessness, fold up our tents, and give up.

Do you want that?  I certainly DON’T!  Pandering and allowing Monsters to party in OUR WHITE HOUSE should come to a screeching halt.

Curious that this event received most of its coverage in the British press. You’d think that THE FIRST Summit held at the White House between the U.S.’s FIRST American-African President and Presidents of most Sub-Saharan African nations would be the major news story in the American press. Instead it was covered like it was a Friday night document dump. It’s almost as if the White House, the Democrat Party, and the press are hoping that no one will notice.
