Texas Representative Brandon Gill bitch slapped schooled Massachusetts Representative Ayanna Pressley regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Abuses led by Mr. Gill under the Oversight Committee chaired by Representative James Comer of Kentucky. Mr. Gill is proving quite adept at slapping down foolishness while Miss Pressley is proving quite adept at letting important points miss her completely. The points go right over her head without any recognition on her part.
Mr. Gill is finishing his first term in Congress and will compete for reelection against Steve Shook on November 3, 2026. Gill is in his early thirties. He is married to Danielle D’Souza daughter of Conservation Dinesh D’Souza. Brandon and Danielle have two children. Mr. Gill came to national attention when he asked an abortion attorney to name her favorite abortion procedure.
Mr. Gill’s nemesis in this contest was notorious grievance grifter, Massachusetts Representative Ayanna Pressley. Her district includes Northern Boston and she is a member of The Squad (Progressive).

Any day that Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) can get shut down by a Republican colleague is a good day. Tuesday was a good day.
The House Oversight Committee Task Force on Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Abuses held a hearing on “Combating DEI in American Institutions.” The task force’s chairman, Republican Rep. Brandon Gill (TX-26), kicked things off in his opening statement by noting that “DEI is, by its very nature, an affront to the principles and ideals that define our great nation and a rejection of the progress our predecessors made in ensuring civil rights protections for all Americans.”
Gill also correctly pointed out that “DEI represents a conscious effort to specifically judge people by the color of their skin and other immutable characteristics. Not only is this an utterly disgusting and racist ideology, but it is also a clear violation of the Constitution and federal law.”
The Squaddies have to keep the grievance grifting up or else they will lose their reason for being. Here is Ayanna’s wind-up:
For her part, the woke Squad member used her time to spout off canned talking points that essentially implied that Republican opposition to DEI practices equated to them hating black people, brown people, women, etc.
At one point, Pressley obnoxiously brought up the fact that all House Democrats had signed on to support legislation she introduced to “add the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment, enshrining it as the law of this land,” but that no Republicans had. Pressley’s point, again, was to suggest, as Democrats often do, that they are the true party of respecting and protecting women.
But Gill was able to shut down Pressley’s talking points by asking one simple question:
Gill: “Thank you, Congresswoman. I’d be happy to look at your Equal Rights Amendment, and read through it. I guess my biggest question was does it define what a woman is?”
Pressley: “I look forward to your signing on.”
Gill: We’ll take a look at it.
Pressley: “I look forward to your signing on.”
Gill: “I just was hoping for some analytical clarity, but thank you. Grievance Grifter Pressley even super loads her statement with harsh trigger words. Pressley says that the hearing is “irrational, misguided and consistent with the Republicans War on DEI.” Pubbies have the Executive and Legislative Branches and they have ” RIGGED” the Supreme Court. Watch this:
If the Republicans have “rigged” the SCOTUS, wouldn’t President Donald Trump have won every contretemps? He has not.
I just love these Representatives who are cool, calm and non-confrontational. Brandon Gill is a verbal assassin. He should give TED talks on being a Cool-Daddy.
I know this doesn’t fit into the Ayanna Pressley narrative, but the Equal Rights Amendment is pointless. All American citizens have equal rights. How about we make the SAVE Act the 28th Amendment?
