Twitter Is Just The Tip Of The Big Tech Leviathan

While we are celebrating the purchase of the blue bird by Elon Musk and the yummy delicious bon mots that he drops daily, and we are simultaneously sipping from a cup of extra-dry Schadenfreude after Musk issued one week Twitter suspensions for a very few journalists, we must not lose sight of the bigger picture. Twitter is a tiny portion of the Big Tech Leviathan that is colluding with the Federal Government.

Twitter has been tons of fun the last couple of weeks. Well, not everyone is enjoying it, but those of us with a sense of humor are enjoying the agita on The Left. BUT, we have to keep our antennae up and aware, because all of Big Tech are in on the collusion. We cannot sleep. Josh Hammer had a post in American Greatness yesterday, that makes this point:

Twitter, though the preferred communicative organ of the American political class and the broader commentariat, pales in comparison to most other Big Tech platforms in terms of its reach. In terms of pure social media platforms alone, Facebook is orders of magnitude more popular than Twitter globally, and is over four times as popular just in the U.S. based on number of users. Facebook’s fellow Meta subsidiary, Instagram, is also roughly three times as popular as Twitter based on volume of American users.

Outside of pure social media, Google and Amazon — the monopolistic internet gateways to information and commerce, respectively — are likely the two most powerful of all the Big Tech oligarchs and have both been exposed in the past for manipulating their internal algorithms to redound to parochial commercial interests. Furthermore, Apple and Google, which combined have a duopoly on smartphone app access, could, in the absence of additional legislation, easily collude — just as they did with respect to Parler after the Jan. 6 jamboree at the U.S. Capitol — to nuke users’ access to the Twitter app, thus severely diminishing, if not outright undoing, all of Musk’s salutary changes to the platform.

Parochial commercial interests and collusion with the government. We learned so much from the Twitter files. And Mark Zuckerberg admitted it to Joe Rogan.

When Lefties aren’t silencing voices and the FBI isn’t warning Big Tech about “Russian disinformation”, the FBI and CIA are putting former employees into positions of trust at the companies. Although Musk fired Jim Baker from Twitter, there is a list of 14 former CIA/FBI employees still at Twitter.

According to former FB exec Kara Frederick, there could be many foreign agents working at Big Tech.

Who is writing the algorithms and monitoring content? They are all spies or Leftist handlers.

I personally love the digital world. I love speaking to my house and it orders what I need. But, we need to stay awake and be gadflies to Big Tech.
