Donald Trump was joined last night with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu last night and press conferenced the only way he knows how.
There was a long introduction and a not-so-subtle dunk on the Biden Administration before Trump turned things over to Netanyahu, who was very complimentary of Trump as a “friend in The White House”.
That is when Trump said it. The “US will take over the Gaza Strip” and “deploy US Troops, if necessary”.
Gaza is still going be rebuilt faster than Southern California.

I spoke to other leaders of countries in the Middle East and they love the idea they say it really brings stability and what we need is stability.”-Donald Trump
With the exception of Egypt and Jordan.
Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States, owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent in a really magnificent area that nobody would know.”-Donald Trump
What in the heck and how is the question here.In concept, as a President with a real estate development background, it is not a surprise Trump is talking like he is in the board room with a bunch of real estate developers. It would be a great piece of land to protect Israel and keep an eye on Iran. BUT…someone’s got to pay for it.
If the US government is going to take over somewhere dominated by radical terrorist supporters to clear the place out and institute serious reforms, they should start with Columbia University.

Truth.
There’s also the burning question of “resettling” Gazans and discerning the innocent civilians from the outright terrorists who occupy the area.
Now, we all know Trump and we all know the President likes to talk and perhaps even stir the pot a little bit. He is unashamed and unfiltered. This we know. Now, I am a Trumper through and through but I also have some concerns about this.
First and foremost, is the utter shambles our homeland is in at the moment and the large-scale clean up of not only policies gone wrong but also all of the monetary waste of our governmental agencies. Pile onto this the current state of our economy. Say what you will about Elon, but DOGE is uncovering a vast amount of waste in our government agencies. From the spending on some of the most ridiculous initiatives know to man to paying the salaries of the coffee badgers, there is A LOT to clean up. Let’s add the hurricane disaster recovery price tag of those still needing assistance in Appalachia and the cost of recovery efforts in California. If Trump truly wants to be “America First”, the focus cannot be on a “takeover” of Gaza. Not now. Maybe not ever.
Readers did throw out some great ideas, though. We’re not talking an amusement park with a great view of the Mediterranean. But, we personally like the idea of moving the United Nations out of New York and planting them right there in Gaza. Perhaps some of the relatively rich countries in the Middle East would like to lend a helping hand and a few bucks to give Gaza water, electricity, toilets, schools and actual law and order? Maybe

Otherwise, Trump should focus on the tasks at-hand. Or, is he? Do we “let him cook”?
I think it’s The Art of the Deal in play!

It’s not all seriousness, here. Trump plays with the Democrats, the liberals and the media like a dog with his chew toys. We all know this. He knew hair would be on fire over this statement. Which is why, in some ways, there is humor to be seen here. What? We’re going to rebuild Gaza?!

I mean, if Californians are depending on Gavin Newsom for rebuilding, Stephen Miller is not wrong.

In most of life’s endeavors repeated failures over a long time lead to changes in behavior and strategy. Not so in diplomacy. As to Israel the “professionals” who have the prestigious degrees from the correct, elite universities and memberships in the correct organizations have been promoting the same solutions since 1947. The result is that Gaza and its inhabitants have become such a sh*thole that the only group that wants them is Hamas so it can steal $Billions in relief aid annually and use the people for human shields and cannon fodder.
Perhaps it’s time to try something different. Even if it doesn’t work, the outcome couldn’t possibly be worse.
