These photos shocked the world today, as images of a drowned toddler flashed across the internet. The little boy was one of two Kurdish brothers who were drowned trying to escape war-torn Syria, crossing from Turkey into Greece at night. The brothers drowned when the overcrowded boat in which they were traveling capsized and threw the passengers into the sea, killing 13 of the 17 refugees.

The little boy was identified as three-year-old Aylan Kurdi. His five-year-old brother Galip, along with their mother, was also drowned. Only the father survived.

The refugees are desperate to leave the chaos in Syria, and so far 2500 people have lost their lives in their attempts to reach the safety of Europe.

In Britain, a petition was launched by The Independent to demand that the government agree to take in refugees. Some 10,000 signatures were signed within hours. Senior British politicians are calling upon Prime Minister David Cameron to do more. “It is heartbreaking what is happening on our continent. We cannot keep turning our backs on this. We can – and must – do more,” said Yvette Cooper, a contender for Labour Party leadership.

And whither Obama? His feckless policies in the Middle East, and his lack of strength and resolve have resulted in the rise of ISIS. Had ISIS not emerged in Syria and Iraq, these refugees would not be fleeing for their lives.

Pete Hegseth, CEO of Concerned Vets, tweeted:

Nonie Darwish, an Egyptian-American human rights activist and critic of Islam, also asked at the Facebook page of Frontpage editor Jamie Glasov:

Why isn’t Saudi Arabia and Gulf States taking Muslim asylum seekers? Why aren’t rich oil countries taking their Muslim brethren instead of letting Christian Europe suffer the consequences of Islamic war refugees? Does anyone ask this question??????

Indeed. Now Hungary and Greece are being overwhelmed by thousands of desperate migrants swarming into their countries. As noted by Right Scoop: “This is a terrible atrocity, but it must be asked where the Muslim world is. With 57 states and trillions of dollars in GDP, no one is willing to do something about Syria?”

Meanwhile, the world should be prepared to see more photos of bodies of children washing up on shores.

Nonie Darwish is absolutely right (and an absolute treasure by the way). Let the ummah take care of their own. But it won’t, because the 57 states that make up that ummah don’t give a damn about these people, especially when they know the stupid “infidels” of the West will take care of the problem as they always do. If anything these states are probably looking at this mess as yet another great way to inject more of their people into the West to advance their cause-world domination under their green flag.

And after the West foolishly takes in even more of the people who believe in the philosophy that seeks to subjugate the West what will be the thank you? More acts of terror, more concessions to appease the “peaceful ones”, more no-go zones. Yes, this is a terrible tale, but the only people the West should be taking in from anywhere in the ummah are those “infidels” being oppressed by the believers in the Koran. not their oppressors. Let Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and all those other states with their obscene oil wealth take care of their brethren for a change-we in the West have more than enough problems as it is with not enough money to solve them.

Don’t forget that there are also Syrian Christians who are fleeing as well.

Yes. Those Christians should be taken in as refugees-even in better times they were nothing but 3rd class citizens in their countries of birth. It’s a shame we can’t remove all the “infidels” from the ummah, even in the more peaceful areas, because they are always sitting ducks for the fanatics and the dictators. As for the Muslims-again, it is regrettable that they must endure the horrors of ISIS and other such scum but the ummah is vast and wealthy-it is THEIR duty to take care of their brethren. But they won’t-they never do. And because the West insanely ends up taking on problems like this one the ummah never changes for the better-the 7th century vacuum it exists in is as savage and as dysfunctional now as it was 1400 years ago.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the feckless Congress: YOU built this.

    Poor babies. 🙁
