Aye Caramba! It was only four days ago that our Darleen wrote about the Perpetually Petulant Portside and their conniption over Donald Trump’s White House renovations as he builds his Big Beautiful Ballroom. Only four days and the screams from the outraged have moved on to naming the ballroom. In my humble opinion, it deserves a Trumpian name.
President Donald Trump brought peace in the Middle East and released the hostages last week and this coming week he will be negotiating with Xi Jinping. He will arrive in Malaysia (Hello to Ann and James) on Sunday to begin his three country trip. Those things don’t matter nearly as much as the Big Beautiful Ballroom and the complete and utter destruction of the White House. Now, the Leftist Media Scribes have got their knickers in a knot over naming rights for this abomination before the Lord. According to The Hill:
President Trump is considering naming the new White House ballroom after himself following days of controversy over his administration’s pricey East Wing project.
The new space is expected to be 90,000 square feet and referred to as “The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom,” according to a report from ABC News.
Earlier in the week, when the president was asked what he’d name the space, he told reporters, “I won’t get into that now.” A senior White House official told Kellie Meyer of NewsNation, The Hill’s sister station, that they “don’t think a decision has been made” on the name of the ballroom.
No, they haven’t made a decision. The East Wing destruction hasn’t been cleaned up yet. But we have this gem from X:
Trump’s $300 million White House “ballroom” isn’t just a renovation.
It’s privately funded by corporations and donors with business before his administration.

Ah yes, donors paying for access. Where have I heard that? Mr. Johnny Chung. From the New York Times, April 22, 1997 “The White House Turnstile”:
How is the Clinton White House like a subway? According to Johnny Chung, fund-raiser extraordinaire for the Democrats last year, you put in coins to open the gates. That cynical comment was part of a revealing interview this week with Tom Brokaw of NBC News, in which Mr. Chung seemed to live up to his reputation as a ”hustler,” the term that National Security Council officials used to describe him when they were trying to keep him out. Mr. Chung nonetheless visited the White House nearly 50 times because he arranged for almost $400,000 in party donations, and he told Mr. Brokaw he paid the money because that is how the system worked.
No less startling was Mr. Chung’s allegation that the Democratic Party was not the only player with a ravenous appetite for money. He also described how he was, in effect, shaken down for a $25,000 donation to Africare, a charitable organization supported by the Energy Secretary at the time, Hazel O’Leary. Mr. Chung said he gave the check directly to a man who said he was an Energy Department official, in order to set up a meeting with Mrs. O’Leary and a Chinese petrochemical official. On another occasion, Mr. Chung said he gave $50,000 to a White House aide to help pay for a Christmas reception in the executive mansion, and then landed a meeting with the First Lady.
We sell naming rights for everything. Why get a rash over this? Because this is Donald Trump. The little brains who transcribe for the Left have no clue how to successfully do anything. That is why they get so offended. They are jealous. Like Sunny Hostin from the view, they cannot be grateful for their place in the world. They have to be small and pick at everyone else. That’s why so many questions from the press have been about the White House ballroom:
The White House pushed back on reports claiming President Donald Trump will likely name the upcoming White House ballroom after himself, saying any name designation for the event space will come directly from the president.
“Any announcement made on the name of the ballroom will come directly from President Trump himself, and not through anonymous and unnamed sources,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital Friday.
Reports spread like wildfire Friday afternoon that Trump planned to name the ballroom after himself, with ABC News publishing a report that administration officials were reportedly already calling the project “The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom.”
Karoline Leavitt was asked about naming rights, too:
I think we should name the ballroom the Melania Trump Ballroom and then put a Tower at the other side of the White House, like this:

Think about how much congestion that would cut down on in the D.C. area. Trump Tower, D.C.. The Left will lose their minds. Every time they drove by the White House their brains would explode. The ballroom and the tower deserve Trumpian names.

“The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom” it is then.
We shall dance day and night with a joyful heart while they rage themselves away.
The reason that Progressives have gone Bat Sh*t Bonkers over this is because the East Wing held the FLOTUS’s office. It’s where Hillary was Co-President, Michelle told Barry to Man Up, and “Doctor” Jill was Acting President. So much feminist history is being leveled, and there will be no trace left.
Instead, there will be FLOTUS Offices designed and furnished by Melaina.
Thus, the proper name should be “Melsina’s Wing”.
That will really set them off.
