Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has long been a proponent of freedom of speech. He’s also a proponent of hard work. The other day, in an interview with the Daily Star, he called whining snowflakes out. 

He said: “I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it.

“That’s democracy.

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended.

“If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”

The superstar thinks that while the world has become a more tolerant and better place, whining snowflakes are draining positive change through their constant moaning.

“We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years,” said the 46-year-old beefcake.

“People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.

“That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”

He’s absolutely correct. The snowflake SJW folks and their whining is harmful to us all. The snowflake SJW’s manufactured outrage solves nothing.

We live in the world of criticism, if we’re willing to get up and try something, we have to also be willing to take criticism. We’re very aware of the need to expand the opportunities for people with disabilities. I think being cast in this role as a quadriplegic really came down to a business decision. As actors, we’re asked to be other people, to play other people. If I, as a straight, older person, and I’m wealthy, I’m very fortunate, does that mean I can’t play a person who is not wealthy, does that mean I can’t play a homosexual? I don’t know, where does the restriction apply, where is the line for that? I think it is worthy for debate to discuss those issues.

There are too many folks out there that don’t understand the definition of ACTING. But I digress.

The problem is, the snowflakes don’t want debate! Instead they have ruled that THEY get to point the finger at anything or anyone they’ve decided offends them and hound them into forced apologies or oblivion …or both.

Jerry Seinfeld pointed out the problems with snowflakes and triggered idiots back in 2015.

Now it’s gotten even worse.

This response to ‘The Rock’s’ comments makes my case.

.@TheRock This “snowflake generation” fought in three wars (hi – Kosovo, Iraq, and Af’stan before I was 25) and made you rich. Previous generations wouldn’t have even listened to this opinion from a person of color. You should be extremely embarassed for having said that.

What Angry Leftist fails to understand is that Johnson was calling out those who live to be perpetually offended. And well…Angry Leftist is imitating a snowflake right now so…

Too many snowflakes out there live to be perpetually offended.

If you sneeze the wrong way, they are offended.

If you use the wrong gender pronoun words, they get offended.

MAGA hats and t-shirts lead to epic triggering.

Using manners leads to full on rage and property destruction from triggered Offendapotomus types.

I’d need a bigger blog if I continued to list the examples of the snowflake whinefests we’ve all been subjected to in the last few years.

Memo to all the triggered snowflakes out there. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is right. It’s past time for you to knock off the whining and GROW THE HELL UP.

UPDATE: From an Instagram post last night, Dwayne Johnson stated that the original Daily Star story was a complete fabrication.

“Earlier today, online, an interview dropped with me, apparently it was with me, where I was insulting and criticizing millennials,” Johnson said in a video posted to his social media page. “The interview never took place. Never happened. Never said any of those words. Completely untrue. 100 percent fabricated.”

Johnson also stated he doesn’t know where the term snowflake came from and has always encouraged communication, empathy, and acceptance. So, the Daily Star got the story wrong.

However, I still stand by my premise that the SJW snowflakes out there need to get a grip and grow up.
